3S happens in 1999, IV sometime in the early nineties. She'd be around 10 or 12 at that time.

Ibuki was the reason i even played the game a little bit years later and I the only reason Ii knew she existed is because of Super Gem Fighter which i bought for the PSone back in the day.  I didn't even know she was in 3s until later.

Ok.You dont like SF3 characters. I would have thought Daigo himself parried the living daylights out of you SF3 haters. But someone has to break this to you guys-The SF3s Are Going To Be In SF4. Demand is simply -Growing+ has always been there. When I first heard their were gonna be no SF3s in SF4 , I was like- What!? 10 Years for this ?!---13 year old matchups and 6 new characters?! And I didnt even have it (SF3)@ the time. But on the otherside, look at the uninspiring line up we have for the Alpha row in SF4. Well, besides Gen. If that is the best Alpha has to offer ,that just sucks...major b***. Adon didnt make it so I guess Dan is a better character than him. In short, Dont kid yourself(z)- Capcom isnt gonna throw away a  worthy line of Characters and creativity in its SF franchise because the "brains'" of the SF fan base couldnt get the parry/high-jump down.
          
@D3V.  About Makotos age. Well ,she is very a cool SF3 character but we opted for Elena and Ibuki(on the SF3 thread) for the update. But if this is applyed to her ,it would also apply 2 Ibuki, So really It doesnt matter. People want Ibuki in ,so she will be how old? How old was Sakura when she started fighting? Its meaningless to even bring up considering we already have schoolgirls going up against the likes of 'Gief,Blanka,Balrog and Sagat.....And 4 years are gonna make that much of a difference? Who cares? the writers will figure out a way to put them in.
