There were other things in there that I agreed and disagreed with, but this particular point needs shouting from the rooftops. With the haphazard way the AI and character matchups work in SFIV the difficulty curve is all over the place at the moment, and it really needs fixing.

I want a Seth clone styled Mokujin(tekken), Unknown(tekken tag), marionette(Darkstalker) and Shadow(Darkstalker).



It a better way of doing handicap matches and add some mini mode on the Arcade matches or Versus mode.

Besides the technical tweaks I mentioned earlier counters special gaurds like "Just Defense" In Garou Mark of The Wolves air throws through escapes etc I would like more play modes even the home release of SF3 couldnt compete with PSX/Dreamcast SFA3 and SF4 dissapoints the same way no survival boss survival or kumite modes all there is is training and challenge/trial mode whatever like EX series. Im just like give me more reason to play the game especially with all characters unlocked from the gate I dont always wanna play the Arcade mode sometime I just wanna see how many characters I can take out before I get KOd or maybe I wanna take on two enemies at a time because Im just that good you know. I loved the world tour mode in SF3 itd be nice to see something like that return more stages more supers is mandatory more themes

I came up with a new idea how about being able to bet on matches with other players and get cash from arcade wins use money to customize characters clothing maybe purchase mini/extra games, modes and extra stages

My biggest concern is that the balance of this iteration might get screwed up due to the many new character additions and tweaks. I really hope that we will have the same level of balancement as SFIV, otherwise the game is a fail.


Next to that I would like to see more stages (preferably character specific) with the original themes. I don't get why everyone is so obsessed with bonus stages. I really don't care much for bonus stages, I much rather have them work on normal stages.


Next to that I would like certain moves of certain characters to be tweaked such as Akuma's raging demon and Bison's teleport. Two ultra's per character also sounds very good to me. Maybe even 2 supers?


Online gaming feautures have to be expanded (more filters) and improved, VERY important!


Finally, I would like there to be NO differences between the PS3 and the 360 version, as was clearly the case with SFIV. This is only fair.

Yeah i had though of this too, i'm just hoping they don't do too much on the tweaking. Just a little bit on things that desperately need to be done.

Char specific stages of course.


More energetic music, the current one feels like elevator ambient music.


Different rules for bar super and super usage. Currently supers are underused for most chars (when was the last time you watched Sagat super? and Rufus? and Chun??).


Some chars relies so much in EX specials that using Super is in fact a waste and can put them in disadvantage. It just doesnt worth using it.

Of course it isn't Guilty Gear/Blazblue hence the name...Street Fighter and what I'm saying IS to add a NEW dimension in strategy, I'm afraid you misunderstood...
