Sick to death of fighting this piece of crap. Love the game but this character really kills Arcade mode. His moves are "over powered" and he can seemingly grab and throw from any attack. I've had several attacks pass though him whilr he was standing still and not blocking. WTH Capcom this is borderline SNK fighting tactics.... I propose a "FIX" or "REMOVAL" of this rediculously cheap character. |

yea, a lot of people have been complaining about this. took me an hour to beat the game on medium with ken yesterday. I doubt they'll remove him but they could at least fix him. a simple way would be just to use regular playable seth as the boss, just set the difficuly depending on how u want it. trying to beat him for an hour made me feel like I'm not that good at the game even though I know I'm better than average.

I beat him on default difficuty (easy) with Ryu in about 3 tries. My first time playing the game. Under the same conditions I must have tryed 30 times to beat him with Sakura... I got so close, but it did not happen. Then I beat him in one match with C.Viper (First time using her). So I really don't think he is that bad.. Bison in Alpha 3 can be pretty tough. And Gill in 3rd Strike is a real bitch when he regains health as his super art. I nearly freaked out when I though Seth was doing that. Complaining about a Boss in a figthing game seems odd to me. If it is tough, it was meant to be that way. What about Cyber Akuma in MSH vs SF, that can be damn hard! |

I can appreciate what your saying but this character is seriously over-powered. I've been playing videogames for years (about 20 - don't ask how old I am) and this is one of the lamest boss characters I have yet to come up against. I can put up with Bison and Akuma because deep down they were beatable. This garbage was meant to suck quarters in the arcade, his really seems to be a "BROKEN" character. |

Play him on the Easiest setting if he's too hard.
And note while he may be a pain to fight against he's really fun to play as and a great character to use for the Challenges. |

Hmm... I must admit that I was frustrated too a couple of times, but Seth really isn't hard to beat on Easiest, set to one-round matches, if you're going for unlocking characters. Several characters can actually beat him by spamming the same move, such as Akumas Hard kick. Others have to work a little for it, but generally, jumping hard puch/kick to low sweep kick does the trick in most cases. Do that over and over, and finish him with an Ultra, if you're feeling flashy. Took me about four hours to beat the game with all characters that way, and I'm sure that people can do it faster than that. On the higher difficulty levels, it's another story, but if you do things like I did, you'll have all the characters unlocked by the time you raise the difficulty, and there's not that much left to worry about. The strategy remains the same - find something that the AI can't handle, and abuse it. If you play against Seth like you'd play against a normal opponent in a "real" match, he will destroy you, unless you're really, really good. I find it interesting to see how so many people expect the game to be a pushover - yes, Seth is certainly annoiying, but it's just another challenge. Personally, it's not a challenge I enjoyed, but playing other players is really where it's at in this game, so I only beat Arcade to get all the characters. Perhaps getting punished so much by Mega Man 9 has made me able to withstand unreasonable challenges :)

In all honesty i didn't think seth was hard enough. I pick up the 360 controller in gamestop and played for the first time on the hardest level and ran through the game in about 15 mins. Seth beat me like 4 times, but all i did was begin to time his cornball moves and tiger uppercut the smash outta him. Maybe it'll be harder with other characters but to me it wasn't that much of a big deal. |

It's weird, I've seen this complaint everywhere...but I've yet to have major issues with him. In 4 runs through arcade mode on default difficulty (2 being with characters I'd never used before...Abel and El) I used 3 continues on Seth total. I really don't see how he's so difficult to where there's so many complaints. People even complain about him on easy, I can't imagine how easy he'd be if I turned down the difficulty. |

I'll admit he is tough for a few reasons they do seem a bit cheap.. esp his grabbing. I did a focus attack, and as soon as it landed( he did not block), he did a reversal. |

only issue i have is his throw it seems like about a third of the time there isn't even an animation for it, i'm just getting uppercutted and piledriven. also, sometimes my throws seem to go right through Seth. I've seen both arms go through him and get nothing, only to end up being thrown myself then.
