He's cheap...maybe even SNK cheap but, there is no way he needs to be removed. He should be banned for tourney play of course but as far as the AI his concerned, he's fine. |

For people who say just use the easiest setting. The only problem with that is the other characters then become to easy. You can't win.I wish he wasn't that hard.So that maybe we could at least set the arcade game to medium. I don't know about anybody else, but if a boss in a fighting game is to hard...then it sort of ruins the game for me. What they should have done is still have 8 matches in arcade mode...but have your rival as the last fight. |

now if you haven't already gotten frustrated, go and try playing Classic SSF2T(not HD remix), on level 8. and let the frustration continues. |

I really don't have a problem with Seth, it's Viper's lack of effectiveness when fighting against Seth. With everyone one else, Seth is just another guy (sort of). In a few continues, you'll beat him, if not on your initial try. However with Viper, the difficulty even on Easiest is seemingly damn near impossible. Damn near everything Viper does gets stomped over by Seth. I think it's far too late to remove Seth at this point, but they can patch up Seth vs Viper in Arcade mode should the complaints continue over time. Alot of the complaints could be from tons of casual players who expect to master their character in a few hours and get frustrated easily. Who knows, it could be a pattern that just isn't as obvious as the other fighters. |

I've been reading this claim around the internets and although I do admit he's cheap, he's beatable.
I beat him under Medium with Ryu on my first try and yes his moves can be considered pretty cheap. I just kept my distance and leaped in for attacks when I found good openings. Tearing him up with the EX hurricane kick and Metsu Hadoken make the the job easier too. Just keep trying and keep some distance since he's extremely powerful. |

After reading all these threads about players getting owned by Seth, I can not wait to take a crack at him. I am still waiting for Amazon to ship me the game. Sigh... |

wow, I really am getting an inflated ego reading the complaints about Seth, because I have been butchering this guy with just about everyone, even got a perfect against him with C.Viper. the only ones that really have problems with him on Easiest are the upclose on the ground fighter. then again I might put this up to (Seth fights alot like Pyron, and I have alot of practice fighting Pyron). Seth leaves his head open in round one, and looks to use a set pattern in round two. he teleports all over the place and attacks right out of it (just like Pyron), jump hard kicks are always the best bet when fighting either guy when they come out of the teleport, and either one loves to throw (an in the air drop throw that does more damage than it should for both guys), right out of the teleport. At least Seth can't throw a person sized fireball, spin through the air or ground, (although Seth's moves have the same effect on distance and effectivness of counter-moves). you know what (Seth=Pyron) as far how to fight him goes and the range of his moves and fight style, just minus a fireball. |

I'm loving Seth. He's a nice challenge, but to me he doesn't feel overpowered like some other game bosses I've seen. |
