I think I'm gonna play sf4 for a few more weeks then I'm gonna take a good break. There are still other games I gotta finish and others I want to buy. When ssf4 releases that's probably all I'll play so I need to finish everything else.

Actually they weren't good games, I was just not into it, and couldn't really make it fun. I was just so frustrated with myself more than anything with my performance from the EHT premiership. I gotta learn to control my frustration, because that only makes it worse when playing a fighting game. Next time we play I will promise to be much more focused and actually play more than 3 or 4 games.
Lastly, you can stop the "act" buddy, you DON'T suck, you were moving very well and very experienced. You need to play Albo, he has a MUCH better Ryu than I do, and he will show you some new things for sure. Which reminds me...
@Albo...last we played you were able to somehow I think hit me with a mid-punch in the air, then a super then an Ultra...how did you do that, I have tried that and always miss, I can only usually get Ultra after super, if I get the dragon punch then super, then ultra.

jumpin mp will cause your opponent to juggle, you should do super when they are just about at the height off their fall (so basically your super must caught them at certain height within certain distance so that your ultra can connect), then you can do ultra (distance and where they fall varies) but when you do ultra and it hits it will not hit all, i think only 3 hits from the ultra, cause i believe you can follow up a juggle a maximum of 8 times only after the move that puts your opponent in juggling state.

Yea man that friggin Balrog is a pain...especially that headbunt, it has way more range and priority than even Ryu's dragon punch(which says ALOT)..thanks for the info too..also i know u dont suck...u have been playin people like mykologist, mac-incognito, luffy, and the like...I personally know how good Mykologist and Mac are when I played them in G1...

sweep is good to know..thanks..the thing with Rog is, it seems very hard for me to hit him, its like his pokes constantly beat anything i throw at him and unlike ryu's dragon punch for anti-air, rogs headbunt again has amazing range, and he has a much larger margin of error to still hit u with it...well as much as i dont want too, here are my very embarassing vids from last night....my division 1 match with a Rog player...for those who have played me multiple times, u can see by the third fight with the things that i am doing, that frustration is so very high for me and i am not even playing like myself anymore, i haven't watched the vids, but i do remember moans/groans from me being made outloud, so u might be able to hear them on the video as well..

not saying that i'm good and i'm not saying that you are bad but that rog is not that good, no chain to ultra, ex dashes pretty far away, charging or turtling expecting a jumpin so that he can headbutt, no tick and throws.
looking at your video its not that you can't beat him but i would say that you are not comfy with the matchup i guess just like me.
a few things that may help you, if you see him crouch don't do any jumpin, don't try to out poke rog's c.lp ryu's c.attack will not win. saving your meter will come handy to beat rog, like you did when you win the 1 round.
when rog did an ex dash from far away you can actually grab them before they gets to you.
also rog's weakness on headbutt is that it is going forward pretty far, so if you do a cross up and he did a headbutt, it will likely to go away from you and you won't get hit unless he change direction.
you can try to be patient by blocking and not doing any pokes since he doesn't really do tick and throw to bait his headbutt.
blocked headbutt is punishable by many things. you did punish them with a throw which is ok but you can actually combo like c.hp/hp, hp srk, fadc to ultra if you have it or simple one is just c.hp to ex tatsu that deals pretty nice 300 damage. i was told that rog has 1100 health point that is 100 more than ryu and his headbutt deals more damage than ryu's shoryuken :(
also there is a risky trick against rog when you are at the opposite end or close to it, so when you do hp hadouken then rog at the other end did tap (that hold 3 button thingie) he will evade the hadou but as soon as your hadou is out of the screen you can do ultra which will caught him or you can do shoryuken if you are fast enough.

Safe jumps work well against him for baiting headbutts. Also you can use c.mk to beat out his headbutt.
yup, just make sure your safe jump is properly timed otherwise its free headbutt for him :(
c.mk too can beat if both done at the same time but if you do c.mk to early his headbutt will hit you but this depends on the spacing and which punch button he uses
