Sorry if this is a done to death topic, but I don't come to these boards often.

SF4 is a great fighter, I love it, even though Seth is cheap. However, the online stuff (at least on the PS3 version I'm playing) feels very basic and needs improving.

Here's my typical SF4 online experience.

-Search for ranked game

- Finds 2 or 3 games, all are 0 or 1 bar strength, despite me searching for games based on ping

- I try to join a game. It reports 'Could not join game' (or something similar).

- I try again. The same happens.

- Repeat the previous step 10-20 times.

- I finally get into a game. It's a bit laggy but fun. The match ends and it kicks me out back to the menu. I have no option to rematch.

Capcom, why are there no multiplayer lobbys? Why can't I set up or join a 4, 8, maybe even a 16 player touranment where the winner stays on, or we all play in some sort of league? Only supporting 1 on 1 in temporary lobbys feels horribly out of date.

And one other thing - I have my game set to allow people to challenge me in single player, but I have no way to limit who can join. I want to be able to specify only low pings, only people at around my rank, and I want to be able to block certain characters (Ken & Ryu).

SF4 is close to being great, but you really botched the online stuff. Capcom, please fix it!
