With Ryu, fireball more to keep me away (out of Rekka range) and mix it up with your fake fireball to bait a jump in and then shoryuken. Then if I chicken wing or jump in and it whiffs, try and go for a trip. That limits what I can do from far. I'll play with you again to help you with the Fei match up.

And practice with Fei in training mode. With the Rekkas, it's not about how fast you can do the inputs. It's just doing 3 hadokens. I think you do another once one hits. So try doing one, pause just a little.. do another, pause a little.. then finish it with the last one. Keep practicing the timing and you'll get it down. Learn each strength of rekka too so you can do all three and be safe if they block. Good luck.

I used to use a hori EX2. It's not the best stick but it works. I did notice on mine that some of the buttons were a lot less responsive than others.
