And I would include myself on the list of people who would rather have other characters than T. Hawk for Street Fighter IV. I might not complain about T. Hawk if Capcom adds some changes to him... But Dee Jay for the win!!! Even the poll states that only 1% of the people voted for T. Hawk while 4% voted for Dee Jay, 7% voted for Hugo, and 7% voted for Ibuki... Having only 1% of the votes is a real shame...

I'm posting because I want to support Dee Jay while at the same time expressing how much I dislike T. Hawk for having an annoying moveset mixed with an annoying AI...

Add me to that list, I'd like to see DJ more...

I mean you have the right to love or hate characters for good or bad reasons. I personnaly rate T Hawk in my top five capcom characters, despite having a bad AI, and me sucking with him. Ok, his AI is bad, his moveset can be annoying, and he's too weak in SF alpha 3. Most of ot can be changed without changing what is the character : a bad ass powerful native american wrestler. I really love his design, very original for SF. His moveset is also original, mix of grapling and ... something else, so at least you have to admit that he's not another clone and he's playing differently.

Anyway, it's only a matter of personnal tastes, and on this forum it i clear that most people would rather see another fighter first. Some would rather never see him again, Ok fair enough, I hate Q and Twelve and wouldn't want them in a future SF, but I don't post after all Q or Twelve lovers to tell how much their favorite character sucks and how much I would be happy of their disappointment.

I like Birdie, but I don't complain when people talk about how sucky he is. He's hated for a reason. I don't agree with it, but that's just how it is. And if it means better sales, it's best if more popular characters came first. They should take priority. And I don't care what Ono or Seth says. The SFIV polls were like the presidential elections: our votes didn't count.

And you want to call our posts childish? This thread is like writing a letter to Santa Claus.
