I haven't used that pad. I use a ps2 pad w/ my xbox. You don't get the random jumping or srk failure like you do on a default xbox pad. maybe better than a madcatz?

how do you do that. What peripheral do you use? Is there input lag? I want to try it out.

the same you need to use ps2 controllers via USB ports... i got 1 and it works fine on my ps3 but it doesn't on a 360... what kind you use? i really need 1 too...

Your hand in mine - I will be brave.
take me from this earth.
An endless night - this, the end of life.
From the dark I feel your lips.
And I taste your bloody kiss.

no offence, but this post makes you look like it's the first time you're playing street fighter.

Albo, I've noticed your posts frequently.. Is it your intention to degrade someone every time you write something? Just help the guy out. If it is the first time he's played, so be it. We all start somewhere.

no offense.. but you're not very appropriate. Maybe I'm not either. But I thought I'd throw that out there in his defense.

Personally, I'd go back to the analog stick over the d-pad unless you have an Arcade Stick. I find d-pads difficult no matter how sensitive they are.  There's really no tricks to any of them.. Just practice. Eventually you could use a 64 controller if you had to.

thanks mark for defending me.

Yes I am new to this game AND pads, but I have been playing SF3 with a stick for years now. But yeh i wasn't sure if stick movement translated directly to pad movement, so I asked here.

Turns out the pad I bought was faulty, so i returned it for another one and it works great. I still prefer the stick though. I have never tried analog, maybe ill do that now and see. I know people say 360 d-pad is better than analog but whatever, if it works , it works.

why don't you mind your own business next time, no offence. I've knwon Ironic in these forums for a while now and I did try to help him if you read my post thats why I said I really doubt it's actually his fault he's getting those problems. I also know he's a good sf3 player so that first sentence was just ironic a bit and not serious. He and I already settled it a few posts after also so why in the world would you bring that up. You don't know most of my posts either since you're a new member so don't act like you do cause it's annoying. I usually try to help people out most of the time and even when there is an arguement I start it out constructevily and respectfully, as I did in your old competition post, if other people come in with a bad tone and give me a bunch of BS then of course I'll defend myself and might not be as respectful since that a two way road. Anyways, no offence once again, but I would appreciate it if you didn't make up crap about me since people who have been here for months can actually vouch that I'm a very respectful, level headed member.

Thank you

I told you it was faulty lol, there is no way you could make so many errors even if you never played street fighter before let alone all your experince with sf3. I'm glad the replacement works though, now you can actually enjoy the game and not get fruasturated with broken controllers lol

Lol tell me about it. I think Im just going to use a Ps2 pad with my 360 if this pad ever breaks down. Cant trust Madcatz anymore, not that I ever did.

wow didn't know you can use a ps2 pad on a 360. I assume you'd be using an adapter or converter, if that's true make sure there is no input lag cause I have read some converters do that...This is why I didn't get a fightpad cause so many people had hardware problems. Even if you're lucky enough to get one that's working, who knows how long it will take until it breaks down. Mad Catz has a bad reputation and they truly deserve it.
