Haven't heard anything think about this but i get the feeling that it will happen..

The story in SFA has said all it needs to so we might not get a new alpha but i know capcom, they can surely fit something in.

I was dicussing this on another topic, if the take the what-if, alternate continutiy route with 4's story, I don't see a problem.

Ryu gave in to the Satusi No Hadou at the climax of Alpha 3 and deafeated both M.Bison & Akuma. Ken, as our new protagonist for this installment, travels the world looking for Ryu along with Sakura trying to hopefully save him. Shadaloo disowned Bison as their leader for his shameful defeat & Bison vows to take back his organization for their disobedience with aid from  recruits like Seth(before turning himself into a cyborg) and the dolls. The standard final boss could be a "Shin Ryu".

As for standard Ryu, his arcade mode could be his subconscious struggling to take back control.
