I heard that there is a rumor goin on that they might make a new version of the Street Fighter Alpha 4 on the new generation consoles you know PS3 and the 360.




Has anyone else here this rumor??




and this would be great to see in the future. it would be crazy with the characters that they have on it man like i am soo excited if this is true.

I hear the game will feature Bison's true form which is a giant slug with 5 arms. To win you have to play as two characters and use super chi of love and saturate Bison in salt!

Story wise alpha 3 is pretty complete with SFA2 added in front of it, though it's easy to make it bigger and better. They still have some move with in the Alpha series (both before SFA2 and al lil tiny bit after SFA3) though it's becoming small.

Let's say they do this in 2D with it's beautiful stylish animation and its perfect manga looks. Who would be willing to buy a 60$ copy for every system it drops on?

All I know is I would be more than willing.

And besides that I'd lay down another 60$ for SFA2 Gold rebalanced in HD with online, 75$ for SFA3 Max rebalanced in HD with online and 90$ for SFA anthology in HD with online and all the options of the three titles intact as well as feature a balanced tournament mode. If the online play is for free, this is real talk.

You see I'm willing to pay good money for games I love, especially if I'm going to play them a lot for a long time to come. Games that I think of as art, besides the great fun and competitive quality.

If I buy other titles like God of War III for 60$ a piece which at this point already looks more than worth it, I'm willing to pay more for titles that give as much fun but last for many years longer, instead of just one month, and can be played with my friends and even other skilled players all over the world.

Above is just to show support, if it was up to me things would be different. See the side note below for some minor info.

As a side note, I love the Alpha series but I'd rather see Capcom move ahead and make a Street Fighter Legends game (or series) in 2D and the main series can be in 3D so we have the best of both worlds.

There is nothing to add to the Alpha series anymore. All the storylines were tied up with the current ones, and the gameplay was extended as far as it could go, along with the roster. All they could really do is something like sfa3 MAX to add new content, which they already have. THAT game would have been sfa4 if it was really worth making a new game, but it isn't.
