Random is the way to go. It's hilarious when someone gets Dan vs Sagat or something. You automatically cheer for the underdog. xD

Great ideas TD! I like the never use the same character twice tourney...some of us may have a slight advantage as we may be above average to good with most characters. Still I'm down with the never use the same character twice comp.


I also like the team battles tourney idea.


Maybe a battle of the sexes tourney, Street Fighter ladies Vs Street Fighter guys


I'm glad to see that these tourneys are bringing the community closer together. And I hope the folks at Capcom are noticing.....

The nothing but normals sounds like fun to me, but it would never work within teh realms of SFIV's buffer engine. It would be absolutely impossible to NOT do specials as they would constantly be accidentally activated for all shotosand anyone with similar movesets.
