Anyone Else Have This Problem With KOF '98 UM? Or Is It Just Me?

Alright, so a while back I bought this arcade stick for my PS2. At first I had trouble learning how to play games like SFIII or Capcom Vs SNK 2 with it (Like doing Supers and combos) but now that's over.

But the same thing can't be said about KOF '98 UM. the supers in the game would sometimes would not respond, and when I do a simple two hit combo, the game doesn't recognize it with a messages that appears on screen. I don't know, am I doing something wrong? or did SNK screwed up the PS2 version of KOF'98 UM? Or things just work differently for SNK fighting games than Capcom ones?

Why does a KOF topic belong here? This is the SF general discussion dude.

Fine then, i'll tell you, since i've played it myself. Sure it has some bugs here and there, such as what you just brought up, but i highly doubt that it's broken. Is this good enough for you, dude?Cool

So it does have some problem and it's not just me. Do you have any problems with performing supers moves?

I always feel like older games are slower to respond. I was play SFA3 and I felt like none of my supers were working and I pretty much got a scabby finger and bled to death :\ I don't know how to explain it but I'm sure it's just because it's a port of an older game and it takes more caressing and holding.

get it on ggpo/2d fighter and see if you get the same problem, or just wait for kof12 in a month which is much more responsive and more popular.
