After you win a match, do you actually believe that you have skill? This isn't a flame post or anything, I just want to know. |

I question why you would ask this, but I could be mistaken. Yes, I use Zangief. Do I believe that I have skill after I win with him? I think have a little skill using Zangief. However, I'm curious to why you would ask this, if you don't mind. |

I dont play gief, I dont wanna play gief... But playing gief takes skill, assuming the person you fight isn't a total dullard. I cant see how they wouldnt feel like they have skill if they are not just mashing Lariat over and over. |

Winning with Zangief takes about as much skill to win as most characters, with a few match exeptions.

I clearly stated that I didn't make this thread for flaming or trolling in other words. I'd really appreciate if you'd remove your head from your rear from now on, and not be so ignorant in the future. Thank you. Anyway, I ask this because I never used Zangief in SFIV until today (I did do all his trails, though) and I won several G2 tournaments very easily with him as opposed to using someone like Vega, or Fei Long who I usually play exclusively online. After I won I thought to myself that it was just way too easy for me to win with this guy. Maybe it was the opponents I was facing, but I just feel as if Zangief takes very little skill to win with, even more less than Sagat who I never have problems with. |

well, if your opponents keeps making mistakes and you punish with pld and lariats then of course its gonna feel easy, especially since you have more health and do more damage, but it depends on the opponent. I remember when I started to use blnka in championship mode and I kept beating people with simple tactics which made it feel effortless. Now I face opponents who know how to defend so it's not always as easy. It just depends on who you're facing, and yes, some characters are easier to use then others.

If I ever did win with him I would feel like I got skill cause it is not easy to play with him. He is kinda slow for me. |

Lol, now I am tempted to use Gief again. I have used him for a day back in ranked mode before, trying to figure his weaknesses a couple weeks after the game came out. And yes, I won a lot, without learning much. Ended up getting too many complaints that I stopped. |

I lol'ed... my opinion is the polar opposite.
I think he pretty much takes the least skill to play. Does that mean he takes none? No, but in comparison to other characters he is very idiot friendly - especially with his 360 cut down to 280. But again, thats just my opinion.
