Dude too many questions! :P Well if its gonna be a huge update it should be available on a retail disc, but thats just me. Nobody can tell you if it will be at this point. Oro said Rolento was considered, other than that Final Fight seems like a no go. :[

There is absolutely no need for Karen; far too many Alpha characters in the game already. Cody, frankly, is underwhelming; Guy would be far more exciting. Ibuki is cool and an indication that Capcom is actually listening. And if Capcom is truly listening then they would know that there is a huge demand for DUDLEY and they should try there upmost to include him.

XD if anything Karen would be the biggest personality in SFIV (aside from Rufus). Dudley rocks but we have Balrog. I agree about the Cody thing though (as much as I like him). I just hope if they do bring Cody they make him different :\ Would he be out of jail (or did he ever go back?) by the time of SFIV?

They should bring Cody in for FF Rep! :D Koria, yeah I'll go with you on that, if he's fixed up a bit it'd be even cooler.

And Balrog doesn't cut it. He's a one-dimensional stereotype and his boxing style lacks grace and finesse. Dudley, on the other hand, possesses great integrity and his boxing style can be described as a perfect medley of pugilistic art and science. DUDLEY FOR STREET FIGHTER IV!!!

I... don't get it. How does it even make sense to have Ibuki in that game?? If her birthdate is only 1980, then she was only 18 for Second Impact. Assuming this is taking place 1-2 years after SF2... then she'd only be like ~14 years old at best. I know it's been discussed before when people were whining about the lack of 3S characters present, but that all I took it for. Her of all characters being announced over everyone that would actually make sense to have... augh. I'd much rather see Dudley (He plays entirely different from Balrog, his presence hardly seems like an argument against him), Q, Urien, Oro, or maybe even Remy all seem like much more reasonable choices.
The Alpha characters, on the other hand, I'm pleased to hear about. I just wonder how they'll explain their absence in SF2. They can't have all forgotten their phone bills! EDIT: BlueDash above me stated the Dudley/Balrog argument perfectly. |

That's why I keep saying they should retcon timeline completely so Ibuki can fit in SFIV. It wouldn't be the first time they did it. SFII supposedly took place in '91 at first since that's when it came out. It's now officially '93. And look at 2nd Impact: It takes place in '98, but because it's a more complete version of New Generation, it may have originally been set the year it was released.
Only scrubs think 3rd Strike is the best Street Fighter of all time.
