It's very easy. Practice doing it alone, then work it into your movements and attacks.

I map the buttons this way:

X: Jab - Y: Fierce

A: Short - B: Roundhouse

RB: MK - RT: MP

It makes it so the buttons for Akuma's Raging Demon are very close together - making it very easy to pull off.

Now - Akuma is no Fei Long, but he's fun to play every now and then.

Ever since Alpha 2 I was mesmerized by this super it was so fun to get the computer with.  I have practiced doing this move almost non stop.  I would practice doing it constantly when I was between rounds and what not.  It is a lot harder to do fast and consistently on the xbox controller.  I bought an arcade stick from arcadeinabox.com(one of the best decisions I have made!), and now I can do it 99% of the time instead of 60%.  Its possible to dial up the move 2 times a second.  People make the mistake of doing it when they are far away.  You should always do it as close as possible so the person has less chance to react.  I do remember struggling to do it consistently when I first started.  Just practice doing it slowly first.  Go into practice mode and do it slowly until you can do it 10+ times in a row with out fail and then speed it up.

You guys like to use Akuma, a broken character thats ban from EVO and tournaments. That's great.

It is very easy, Im on a stick now but I have been using a pad since the dawn of time. I didnt map the buttons, I found layout was fine. Its more the timing on the d-pad that stumps people :)

Playing Street Fighter since 1991

It's not hard, just make sure you get each button in proper order at a good enough speed =)

The thing is with Akuma is he's too easy to be good with.

The best time to catch anyone with a raging demon is just as they're getting off the floor. That works most of the time for me.
