Disconnect Percentage!

Let's get to know everybody's rate of quitting during matches! What is your disconnecting rate?

Also, does anybody know whether if the number decreases over time or will it stay to haunt you forever?

I have a percentage of 1 and I've acquired it purposely upon trying something immoral...

Play Left 4 Dead, that game will go down in history as the top game for rage quiting.

I've played games where everyone will leave because they think their teammates are bad, when in truth they are the ones that are bad.

I had friends that ragequit, so playing with friends are useless as well.

You get disconnection rate if they quit, you quit or the connection freezes.

Its not a very good way of stopping people rage quiting.

Mine was at 1% when someone rage quit at the end of a fight on me but its gone to 0% now.

Its all a bit of a mess really, Tekken DR on PSN sends you a message that if you do it more than once you get banned... why cant we have something like this????

Because that would be bs, sometimes I have to run. Ill start a match, but have to run and leave my house. I'm not going to leave my PS3 running all day, so I obviously turn it off. Of course when I get back on, I usually send a message to the person I was playing, apologizing.

So, getting banned for having a life and needing things done, would f'in suck.

I think this is way too strict. Having a percentage system allows you to decide who you would like to fight. I have played thousands of online matches and have lost power a couple times or my internet service goes out. If I were to SEEM to rage quit 3 times out of 3,000 matches should I get banned? I would rather have the decision of who you play to the players, it is as simple of looking at the stats. We are not mindless drones and can decide if we should play someone with a 25% or a 1% disconnect rating or not.

In addition to that, legitimate DCs happen. I remember playing Madden not too long ago durring a storm. Power outtage ruined a great game, real back and forth stuff. Players shouldn't be punished for having their connection crap out on them, because for every 10 ragequitters, there is a legit player who got screwed.

So I think that the percentage is more than enough, if you don't think the guy with 35% DC will finish the match, back out before the match starts.

Then stand and lose or try to rush down and beat your opponent, disconnecting does little to help the online community of any game, anyway how long would a match last, that you can finish it.

I can't judge anyone reason for disconnecting, I can only play on.
