I don't think that you get a % increase because of people ragequitting on you... at least not on XBL, as I have had many of them do that and it hasn't affected my %.

Many have disconnected on me as well and the percentage doesn't go up.

It was a bad string f disconnecters one day which brought up to 1%

By the way, 1 single day of power outtage would not get you 1% disconnect rate

Last night i finished up a g2 championship. collected my points. checked out the stats. and exited , then it said i lost connection to xbox live and will now be signed out, but when i hit the home button, i was still on. I never lost connection and it even said my last game didn't conclude , but it idid. no disconnect % so far. i did lose connection once but i think it was late enough that nobody lost points. I've noticed that weird things have been happening like full bar lags and not being able to join rooms even though they keep showing up in the lobby.

I've never been disconnected from PSN while playing with SFIV

Might want to check what your internet provider is up to, or your internet options.

Bad coding on Capcom's part (doesn't surprise me)

Well it'll be fixed since I'm sure the Japanese crowd must have comfronted Capcom of Japan 'bout this.

If i run into someone with 4% or higher disconnect ratio, i leave or boot them.

I hate when people do that, I find it almost as bad as rage quiting. I have 3% and people boot me all the time, but I've NEVER left a match because I was losing.
