Disconnect Percentage!

Like I've already mentioned in this thread, the only time I quit is when I'm a 100% sure I'm dealing with a Lag switcher.  And I will continue to do this, and will never apologize for it.  Infact I did it just this morning.  I was fighting some idiot, my system was lagging during the entire match and throwing off my charge time while he was executing his moves perfectly fine.  Once I realized this was no coincidence, I made the sacrifice and dented my DC% and gave up my CP and quit on his backside.  He then sent a msg calling me a loser.  I responded by telling him to "learn how 2 fight without using a f***ing lag switch"   He didn't respond after that.

About 10%.

9% of that purpose quits because I like to have fun and I do not waste time battling turtles.  Is faster to quit, reload game and find another match that battle a turtle down for 2-3 rounds.

Is not rage quitting and quite often I'm not losing.  I just cannot stomach the boredom.  Boredom quitting, that should be the name.

Just to be clear I'm not talking about charge characters and such who -need- be a bit defensive, I'm talking about real turtles.

So your openly proud of rage quiting???

SHAME ON YOU!!!

Is this sarcasm or can you not read?

I expected the responses I recieved.   Some people can not even contemplate that some people play for fun and do not care about rankings, wins, losses, GP, CP and all that stuff.

I play for fun, nothing else.  Fighting a turtle is not fun and I do not waste my time doing it.

Some messages I get show that some people care way too much about something so unimportant in life.  I usually reply with "The sky is falling!"

You should learn how to actually play so you can make them wish they weren't turtles.

But your "fun" ruins the game for all the people you quit on, so knock it off. My friend's little brother quits games when he stops having fun. He's 7.

Quitting is for chumps, end of story.

Cheaters are lame as hell, so I feel for you. But if you're going to lose anyway, why bother quitting? I totally understand the frustration, but I'd rather have a loss than a quit %. And you can't be 100% sure that the lag is due to a switch.

By the sounds of it you quit on turtles because turtles beat you. So you only dont rage quit when your winning, so I beleive you take the game as serious as everyone else otherwise you wouldnt quit, you would just laugh to your self thinking 'D**K' and get on with the next fight like the rest of us do.

As you percentage increases you will find it harder to get fights... im sure that wont stop you opening up another account and rage crying when a turtle kicks your a$$ again.

It is better to have a loss than a quit %.  But I hate to see cheaters advance.  I don't quit frequently, I'm at 1-2%,  but I make the sacrifice when lag switching feels OBVIOUS.

It seems the 'can you not read' guess was the correct one.   Too busy trying to take pokes at me to bother reading anything.   Why even reply?  You are just being ignorant.  You are one the people who spend the next 20 minutes spamming my message box if I quit on you, aren't you.

i'm at 1% though i've never ragequit and just had random disconnects or freezes.  seeing the 1% does bother me though since i know i don't deserve it

laura, i get where you're coming from with fighting turtlers...what i usually do is just keep walking forward and let them beat me, or just get up and go to the bathroom or go eat or something

i won't ever ragequit though...a high d/c % = people not playing you

I read that sometimes you're so cool that you quit while you're winning, but it's still lame. Making excuses for quitting, or quitting because of different circumstances is still quitting. And quitting is lame.

You wouldn't just quit a game of anything at an arcade or at school, because you would look like a chump. But because playing online affords the luxury of anonymity, you quit like a 7 year old because something isn't going your way.

If you can't figure out how to punish a turtle, or get them to quit turtling (even if you're winning), than you're suck-quitting not boredom-quitting.
