I play as Chun-Li and I just wanted to thank everybody who plays as projectile characters. Thank you for throwing fireballs from mid-screen while I have Ultra meter. It saves me the trouble of having to do a fancy combo to land my ultra. Thanks again!

Yes, and I should thank you Chun players for proving to scrubs that fireballs are not invincible.
When it comes to playing Street Fighter, you may be a scrub if:
1. You think games aren't fun if they require thorough training and commitment. 2. You think controlling space is old, unskillful, boring or aggravating. 3. You complain about fireballs when every character has a move that beats them. 4. You complab about losing by chip damage when the idea is to avoid the situation, period. 5. You think a certain mechanic is good simply because it looks cool, or feels good to use. 6. You think parrying is for the hardcore, when in fact lots of hardcores hate it (ex: Seth Killian). 7. You think guessing games in themselves are a measure of depth. 8. You rely on anecdotes and mainstream reviews to convince people a certain game is superior. 9. You think fighting in a Street Fighter game should be as "realistic" as possible. 10. You tell someone they're elitist for calling you out on any of the above. |

You can walk right up to them and Hazan Shuu (Overhead Flip Kick) for added laughs too. Guile's recovery time from his sonic boom is really fast, so sometimes this is a better option than ultra.

I felt the same way when using Abel. And I feel the same way whenever I use Seth as well. Speaking of this, blanka's regular horizontal roll is a free Ultra for either of them on block as well. Not sure if it works the same for Chun, but you may want to give it a shot. |

I had to figure that out fast. Normally I can control space with fireballs, but against a good Chun-Li, it does the opposite. It limits MY options when Chun-Li has an Ultra in the chamber. It forces my hand and makes me consider weather to be the aggressor or sit back and wait, but all without using one of my most important tools. That's good design, creating an Ultra that truly alters the way the match is fought. I hate playing across from it, but I must applaud a well crafted manuver.
