Man i know how that feel to get that. I do not like how everyone can go through fireballs on here just with there ultras thats so gay to me. Its not a problem for people who playw this character to can jus go right through something. I forget everytime that she can go across the screen at lighting speed lol. only if akuma can go through fireballs man it would be nice you have to time it right to be in between just to past by and not get hit. you guys are lucky :)

Uh...ya know, Akuma can teleport which doesn't even cost him an ultra meter and he can go through fireballs. =/


Also, considering how much of advantage most shotos have over Chun it's not that bad.

I agree with you completely. This thread is a thank-you for scrub shotos specifically. Because the scrubs make it so easy to win with Chun. Playing a legit shoto (with the brains not to throw projectiles from mid-screen) with Chun is still a fun challenge.

LOL haha thats funny that should be the same for guile users that spam the sonic boom.


Forreal i dnt complain bout people who spam things anymore because its part of there game like guile players use it to set up for their moves. or Gief players doing the Larait.

Having an ultra loaded changes the game and to be honest projectile charchters going for a hadow chees win deserve all they get....


ultras are part of the games deal with it!




actually I play dictator/bison as my main so I don't mess with projectiles unless I'm using shoto's or guile but there is nothing wrong with projectiles. basically you just don't understand the concept of  projectile zoning.  zoning via projectiles is not hard to get around. you just have to understand distance and recovery time.


also each projectile does only minimal damage as compared to an ultra. look at akuma's air fireballs. honestly no matter who I use I NEVER have a problem with projectile characters.


ultras on the other hand are quite literally for noobs and people who don't understand the other technical aspects of the game. after all, it is defended on this forum so rigorously that the ultra was made for newbies that don't know anything to have at least a fighting chance. but then at the higher levels when the skills are equal it is just simply rewarding the loser.


every time you land an ultra on a projectile character and you were on the cusp of losing, just know that quite literally without ultra, you were trash that round.


how about just learn about zoning?

in case your wondering why I dispise defense in general as being to dominant in a game and things like rewarding the loser as bad game design the answer is


defense against defense = stalemate
