I know allot of people would disagree but I dislike referring to moves by using a foreign language for it.

Not just talking about character moves in challenge mode but when discussing combo's and such with friends or on-line it a bit of a hassle and it could be avoided, I do refer to things as fireballs instead but that's a bit limited init?

Fireball = generic

Hadouken = closer to the real meaning

Though there are some awesome names for the English version of some moves such as the Hurricane kick (love that name)

you meeaaaan english names liiiiiiiike . . .

Dragon Punch?

Hurricane Kick?

Tiger (anything)?

Psycho Crusher?

Rainbow Roll?

Flash Kick?

Spinning Bird Kick?

Spinning Pildriver?

Yoga (anything)?

Raging Demon?

Cannon Spike?

Quesadilla bomb?

Snake Strike?

I dont know, just to throw out a few. Personally, I still think Ragin Demon sounds weak as all hell compared to Shun Goku Satsu. Much like Hurricane Kick vs. Tatstumaki Senpuu Kyaku

Theres plenty of english moves in SF, but some things just sound better in Japanese, and should stay that way.

I have to disagree with this because I used to do Karate classes when I were a child in classes with English instuctors, and mostly English people, but we still had to learn everything, and do our gradings in Japanese.

The characters who are meant to Asian have Asian words for their special moves, and ones who are meant to be European / American have English names.

The only odd one seems to be Dhalsim, I suppose that the game developers couldnt find someone to write move names and record Dhalsims voice with actual Indian words and accent.

So we just have an English sounding mystic yoga man from India lol.

Depends on the usage for me. Theres no way I'm saying Tatsumaki senpuu kyaku all the damn time, but I wll say Shoryuken instead of dragon punch.

I prefer the Japanese voicing in games from Japan, the English just sounds wrong to me.

I think Kens Japanese voice in SFIV is badass.
