Not only that, you HAVE to develop your own style of using her. It's just like how baseball players develop their own batting stance and approach. <---might be the best the best example lol

Ive been trying out Rose, but I just cant get into the hang of her. I probably failed because I try to turtle like I do with Vega / Bison / Cammy, and she sucks at that.


I prefer the players that stay away and close in with fast attacks, I'll try Fei Long next.


I also didnt get on very vell with El Fuerto and Crimson Viper. I can only play Vega / Bison / Cammy / Ryu and Ken well enough to beat other players :(

Honestly don't know what to tell you.  In a lot of ways Rose feels like the character with the least options in the game to me.  Learn what she can do and the rest comes down to doing it a lot and relying on doing stuff on reaction.  Her (I think it's...) cr. HP is a great anti-air though.  Usually not best to rely on her anti-air grab special.

ok, so here's my progress, i been practicing with her, she is ok, i know i heard that her crotching fierce punch is a good anti air.  I guess right now i'm takiing Scarecrows advice and not really watchin any videos, but more or less feeling her out...not in that way people!! haha!! But i have noticed if i stay on the offensive i do better then if i become a defense player with her.  So far she has great speed and foot work.  Her reflects are kinda annoying to spam projecitle throwers and i actually use it as a offense move in a combo, yeah wierd, but its works and its not bad.  But i'll have to play some of you and you can critque it yourselfs.  Right now though i'm playin online with my nephews account (he's only 5, but loves any SF so far that he's played).  But i'll invite ya on the s0calflip tag just to test her out and get some "constructive critizims.  Thanks for all the advice again though.

I don't really see how this is a good idea. Sure, it's important to develop your own style, but it's also important to pick up some cool tricks and tactics along the way. That's what these videos are great for, you don't have to play exactly like a good Rose you've seen on youtube, but ignoring videos which will ultimately help your playstyle is just silly.
