STREET FIGHTER IV - ONLINE PLAY IS NOT FREE??PLEASE HELP- PC VERSION

when i try to play online in the game, i get this error


"online play via xbox live is not available with the current gamer profile"


i set up my GFW live account mainly when i bought GTA IV and later on Dawn of war 2.


 


on the boxset it says that online play is free, but if a GFW LIVE GOLD account is required, then i have to play 50 a month to play SFIV online??!!!??


or is there something wrong with my account. can someone tell me and/or help me out here please?

this is bull. it says its freakin free and it even says on the GODDANG manual that GFWLIVE IS FREE WTH?

That's strange since they did say SF4 PC online is free.  If you are required to have a LIVE membership then CAPCOM should have at least enabled cross platform play.

GFW Live is definitely free on PC.


Maybe it's something with your region (SF4 not out yet in your region) or your age settings etc..


Try logging in and out, or maybe try creating a new free account and see if that works.

Wait until July 7th when the game is actually "released" and then try.  You technically shouldn't have a copy right now anyways. (Even though I know a lot of places have sold them.)
