im gonna be really breif here tsince im typing on my phone. alex valle and gootecks both have experience against my sakura. gootecks beat my sakura at devastation and me and valle have played many time. the deal breaker here is that i know matchups a lot better now. for instance, i know i can stuff boxer c.fierce anti air everytime. he didnt know that and thats where i got my damage in. the mixup stuff is nothing new to anyone when it comes to the midscreen mixup. but i havent played a good sak that can space it right to make it hard to tell.  and as for one of the posters saying they fell for day one mixups in the corner is clueless. i can tell you right now, the corner double crossup with a late j.rh is a brand new mixup that i kept secret til evo. i guarantee no one knew it. all the other saks do a normal j,rh and try to see if they can crossunder, which is only ok at best and it depends on the opponents character.  also, no one does the the short hurrican kick on opponents wakeup to crossup last second9like what happened at the end of round 3 to gootecks.  these are new tricks and i dare anyone to find anyone else that has discovered this a long time ago and claimed it.  bottom line is, i came with more matchup experience compared to the past against them, came with new tricks that no one outside of arizona has seen, and had to outplay my opponents in losing matchups.  they were good games.   ill leave it at that for now. back to work

Ok, have it your way. However, she's not bad nor predictable as you think, because it depends on the beholder. People said the same thing about Feilong and that turned out the opposite. Anyway, it's simple to realize that some characters take more effort than others, depending on what type of characters you play against applying what stragedy that's fits the situation when you have Sakura. Most aren't fond with that much effort I believe, but it pays off if you have a likeness for that character or just your favorite character.

scarecrow: are you really serious?  theres no way i could beat you?  what city/state you live in? what tourneys you go to? or are you just some random online lag warrior that never leaves the house to play and thinks the broken leaderboards are a true representation of skill?

if you play in cali, or close to it, you name the next big event coming up, ill show up, and we can play for however much, first to 5, 10, whatever.  I guarantee you i will get more than just 1 win on you.  I go toe to toe, with valle, EDMA and other killers, OFFLINE.  how about you killer?  they all respect my game, over the years, as well as i respect them for being amazing players. 

sakura having no options and no range? are you high?  players are scared of c.forward cuz its range is incredible, is fast, has high priority, and leads to a free knockdown.  it's one of the best far pokes in the game.  her s.rh, while not as fast as it used to be in alpha2/3 and cvs2, is still a good poke and has massive range, once again.  her focus also has incredible range.  no range, are you kidding me?

yes, she is most effective in close.  but its also matchup dependant. certain characters, she cannot do ex HK shenanigans. so yeah, if you use a specific character, then yeah, i may not be able to use the shenanigans.  but thats fine, cuz as long as i get the ex hk, i get good damage, high stun, and force a knockdown and keep you pressured.

lol and as for jibbo. i know the dude.  he used to main sakura before going to gen.  so he knows the character really well. i never played a good gen, ever,  and i was not prepared for it.  he played the character wonderfully, but he also didnt rape.  it was still a close game.  if i had known the ex wall dive was invincible, i wouldnt have been going for shenanigans, but i didnt adapt to it fast enough.  whether i knew the character or not, jibbo outplayed me in the end, and i credit it.  i dont make excuses like "he used gimmixks" or "i never play that character, if i knew the matchup, you woulda lost."  i say whatever to alll that cop out excuse crap and just give the player props for winning.

perhaps, valle and gootecks dont play vs a good sakura, except when they play me.  but they have played vs MY sakura in the past, they knew what they were getting into. and i came with a couple new tricks that no one knew about.  i got about a dozen different ways to set things up.  and while they play in arcade, they play console a lot.  i have them on my friends list, they are online A LOT.  so thats a silly assumption that they dont play console

its real easy to be sitting behind the monitor playing arm chair warrior and making silly comments and claim this and that.  but if you dont go out there and make things happen, then your opinion is irrelevant to me.  if you come out, and we somehow play, and you beat me, i will give props, no questions asked.  I would look forward to it.  and i would expect the same respect if i beat you.  but right now, all you are doing is making silly assumptions and speculations.
