Man i do not care what anyone one says man people are def running to him because it is super easy to do that move with his super SRK that can hit you from crazy distances away from him and still getting to the ground before you doing the same old ultra move. i dont hate the players i hate how they made him like that i never HATED Ryu till this one nor Sagat. I feel just like you running into him and getting the same move done and crazy thing is you know its coming before he does it cuz that gay SRK of his. and i hate how he can punch and kick you a million times and you can't do nothing bout it but if you try the same his unreal SRK just hits you up outta it like its nothing.

Rob I understand your pain.. Ryu and Sagat are just too good on this game. I hate it whe somebody says "Well don't blame the game on your lack of skill"... COZ ITS DAMN CLEAR WHEN CHARACTERS ARE OVERPOWERED!


Now there not over powered to the point they are unbeatable but geez they got way more advantages than everyone else.

Itdepends on what "kind of armor" you're talking about. I repeatedly jab DP Balrog's EX dash punches, and it breaks the armor everytime. It has the glass shatter look, the sounds, everything!

If the special move comes out as a counter or whatever, then it gains armor break properties.  This is generally what happens with Ryu's shoryuken (especially on wake-up).  Generally only occurs if he catches you with the early part of it.


With Balrog's dash I can only assume you manage to jab him twice.  More than one hit will cause armor break.

This is the aswer i was expecting... now it got sense... this also apply with Gouken's Kongoshin as for Hyper Armor (FA).

If you face nothing but shoto users all the time, shouldn't you already know how to deal with them? I mean, most Ryu noobs pretty much do the same stuff. You figure out how to beat one and you beat all of them which leads to more easy wins.
