It would work if Capcom made it. Make it play like TvC, but with new elements to make it fit better with Nintendo. Make a Capcom groove and a Nintendo groove if necessary. Use the TVC engine as well but totally re-do interface and bump up the graphical fidelity. Use the best characters from the Smash Bros. cast(don't use clone characters liek Falco or less popular ones like Jigglypuff) and most of the Capcom side of the TvC cast, possibly replace Saki and PTX with some other characters like Gene(God Hand) and someone else. Also have some other (newer) Nintendo characters(i.e. Captain Rainbow, Little Mac, etc.).
