No Double KO?!

Ryu's Ultra is really slow.  No surprise to me yours got a hit in before his did.  Normally it's worth the one hit for Ryu to connect with the Ultra, in this case not so much.

I remember losing ( i believe it was ) in the finals in a G2 match where we both jumping HK or something similar and got the DOUBLE  KO. We both ended up losing. Because of the nature of the final hits, they weren't simultaneous. He just managed to sneak in his ultra animation. I'm not sure how it works with multiple hit combos. I guess just trades work as double ko's. If you do a ryu ultra and someone else does it after you. with the same energy, im willing to bet whoever drains faster loses. It'd be an interesting test in versus mode

how come my audio doesn't sound like that?  When Ryu throws the fireball, Dp, or throw, it sounds like he is shouting, but on my ps3, he doesn't sound like he's shouting.

Could be the language your using. Ryu is slightly more "enthusiastic" in English I think.

Lol... Yeah Ryu's erm voice in English is kinda all over the place to me. Japanese voice overs is the way to go :)

I got a draw game in a G1 final on wednesday against an effing Blanka(no offence kornstew, IlserothWink) player, it would've been my first victory against the green SOB in a G1 final to boot. I was so upset that it sent me on a losing streak of 8 straight finals......AAAARRGGHHH!!!!Yell


I texted the guy afterwards and he said that it's happened to him a couple of  times.....hazard of the Blanka job, I suppose....
