Has anyone played the Saturn version of Street Fighter Zero 3? Aka Street Fighter Alpha 3. I've heard it's the best version. Even better than the Dreamcast version.

My buddy has this game and compared to the PSX version, the sprite sizes are closer to the arcade. The colors are even better suited on the Saturn. The DCast version is WAAY too brite and the sprites seem kinda stretched out. If you have the means yes grab yourself a copy, I too have been hunting down one myself.

Zero 3 Saturn

Alpha 3 PSX

Alpha 3 Dreamcast

Either way you slice it, a great game. I guess it just depends on what console you want to play it on.

Out of the PSX, DC, and Saturn ports, Saturn is probably the best one to get. But honestly they each have their own quarks. Some graphical and gameplay glitches here and there.

But aside from those other 3 and the psp version, the Alpha Anthology(PS2) is best port out of all of them since all the games in there are the arcade versions. Graphically, its not as beautiful as the arcade because it is upscaled, but unless not having stuff like scanlines and 480p really bothers you, this is the one to get.

SSF2T/HD Remix: FeiLong, DeeJay, Thawk, Cammy, Zangief, Dhalsim, Guile, Vega(Claw), Balrog(Boxer)
A2/3: Gen, Karin, Guy, Sodom, Birdie, Charlie, Sakura, Vega(Claw), Balrog(Boxer), R.Mika, Zangief, Juli, Juni, FeiLong, Dhalsim, Thawk, DeeJay, Cammy, Guile
SF33S: Hugo, Q, Sean, Twelve, Remy, Elena, Dudley, Yang
SF4: Abel, Guile, FeiLong, Gen, Dan, Cammy, Zangief

If they are the Arcade versions, doesn't that mean that Alpha 3 doesn't have certain characters that were added to the home versions?

Well the Anthology has 2 different arcade versions. Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 3 and Street Fighter Alpha/Zero 3 Upper. Which has the extra characters(T.Hawk, Guile, etc)
