The Thread over at SRK has since been deleted.



Henaki, a trusted and old SRK user has posted a list of the alledged characters that will make it to Street Fighter IV dash. The list is as follow:



Returning from SF3: Ibuki, Makoto, and Dudley

Returning from SF2: DeeJay and T-Hawk

Returning from Alpha: Guy, Cody, and Adon

in addition to 2 completely new characters.


What do you guys make of this list? Street Fighter IV dash has not even been announced yet let alone what new characters are we getting. On the other hand Henaki has been on SRK since 2001 and i don't see why he would lie to a community he has been an active part of for 8 years.


Take this rumor with a grain of salt for now, time will prove if Henaki is trustworthy or not.

I would be very happy with such a roster.  Only ones I could want that are not listed are some of my favorite SF characters (Alex, Karin, Yun and Yang).  Them beeing absent doesn't make this roster any less awesome though.

Where he did get the info? Was it leaked? And if it was, did it come from an insider who has seen WIP for the game? Or documents with a written proposal for who should be in it? Or was it just misinterpreted?


This would satisfy Dudley fans to no end, that's for sure. And I'd lose myself for a whole day if I knew Ibuki was gonna be in it. Makoto too, though I don't how it's possible given the timeline. I'm guessing this could have something to do with that Toronto panel. Ibuki and Makoto seemed to be getting a lot of support there.


Just wish Alex and Rolento were rumored too, damn it.

Only scrubs think 3rd Strike is the best Street Fighter of all time.

He says he got it from some guy who works for Capcom, but said he couldn't and wouldn't go into detail about it.  I feel you on the Alex and Rolento point and it sucks, but you can't please everybody I guess.  The 3 SF3 characters on that list are great and the Alpha charactrers would be perfect except I don't too much care for Adon.


Also the two new characters sounds promising.  I hope they go ahead and put in King Cobra and (even though he's supposedly dead) Agent Smart Crow.  If not them then they'll probably end up putting in Gouken's daughter or something.

Thats quite a list.  I'd be happy to see even half that make the next game.  Heck, i'd be happy with just dee jay, and T hawk. Isnt that tokyo show coming up soon though?  Id think they'll have some info on the new game really soon.

Adon in the game? I don't know, Capcom has brought a character or two that don't get much attention amoung fans before (Gen & Rose).


Of course Capcom will bring mostly the fan favorites but I think it's nice that a character that doesn't get much attention makes it in.

I doubt all those character being put in at once 3-4 per update im guessing. Im very intrigued by the proposal of 2 completly new chars, thats would be awsome.
