Has nothing to do with Tekken and TKD. She just looks like a cross between the Capoeira girl from Tekken and Tira from Soul-Calibur. C. Viper is meant to be a KOF'esque character. It's in her style of play as well as in her look. The best C. Viper player in Japan (the world?) was a KOF only player before SFIV. |

That can be argued, but Artayes was the one who for a long time kept the blaze roaring and the Street Fighter III Support thread always either at or near the top of the page. I'm not saying those who dislike him should like him, just that the strong possibility of Street Fighter III characters in Street Fighter IV might not have happened so soon without the thread he started and fought for.

**** him. If there's someone you should thank, it's Nate. We wouldn't have had any sort of meaningful discussion in that thread without him. Before he came around, it was just pointless ranting about "*insert crappy characters [Necro, Twelve, Remy]* for SFIV!!!!!" posts, and Artayes being a parry-loving scrub.
Only scrubs think 3rd Strike is the best Street Fighter of all time.

And I'm just saying it might have happened sooner. Since when is there a prize for taking a perfectly normal request and turning it into trolling?

How about we thank those that supported SFIII characters? Especially Nate, but those that wanted them in as well. Let us keep the peace! Tobias man, you too. Both you and Nate stirred a whole bunch of ideas as well. Thank you thank you!

Post an effing link or something then. I'm not saying SFIII isn't in, I'm just saying the pics we have of Juri and THawk don't mean they are.
Interesting subjective points but give me ANY character and I can come up with who they are a "cross between" or "where they were from". There is simply enough source material in the universe to do that for ANYONE so none of it means ****, and definately doesn't mean capcom is copycating anyone |

Lets not get started on this. This is an important and active thread. Do not derail it. If you want to talk about thanking Artayes, make a topic about it so that when it becomes flamebait I can close it. |

Come to think of it though, seeing Hawk dressed as an Aztec Jaguar Warrior would be very interesting.
