So "we" must cut two beetween

Cody

Guy

Adon

Dudley

MaKoto

Ibuki

(Juri/T.Hawk/Dee Jay confirmed,Hakan yet too see but probably in)

That suck... if they cut Makoto and Ibuki ok,but if is any other name of this list i will be pissed

Guy and Adon will be surely in my mains... and probably Cody too

And i like a lot Dudley

Considering that in SSF4 there are "group"

(new 4 group,alpha 4 group,shadaloo 4 group)

i don't see just 1 character from a series.... read for example as "Makoto and Ibuki out-> only Dudley from SF3"

At this point my bet is Adon (:<) and Makoto, result will be

2 totally new: Juri and Hakan

2 from SSF2: T.Hawk and  DeeJay

2 from FF: Cody and Guy

2 from SF3 Dudley and Ibuki

Seem work to me,remember a lot how they created SF4 cast

Ibuki's a favorite of Ono and Shiozawa, so she's safe.

Found this on the SRK Forums -

More stuff from ken bogard :

- Ono said he wanted the gameplay to be like the intro with tons of ink effects and stuff like that, but he would have to wait until next gen because the current consoles couldn't handle it real time.

- they're not going to nerf shoryuken's to stop them from stuffing hitstrings/blockstrings, but they're gonna put more tools in the game to go around them.

- There's already a new build at Capcom and T.Hawk and DJ already play completely different.

- Making ''HD remixed'' games takes a very long time because you have to redo every sprite for every movement by hand, but the response for ssf2thdr was good enough that they'll want to do another one, and that a darkstalkers revival was very possible (already mentioned somewhere I think)

- the dwn fwd, dwn fwd +p doesn't do uppercuts anymore., dwn fwd, fwd, dwn fwd does now. ???

-Ono is also not a very good player, all he did was dwn fwd, dwn fwd +p all day with ryu.

Is there anyway I could get a link to that?

Im actually more impressed with the first bullet. Ono mentions he wanted to do the game like in the original debut trailer. I was hoping SFIV would be like that. Maybe they can make a new SF like that when a new gen console comes out in the future. Maybe not make it a SF5, but something experimental and on its own.

You guys are deluding yourselves if you think we have any say in it at this point.  One thing that should be blatently obvious at this point is they knew what SSF4's roster was going to be before they even announced it was coming out.  They have their 10 characters planned.  If they can get them in they will, and if they have to cut a couple due to time, they'll already have picked out which ones will get dropped first.

I'm not too worried about it though.  They're probably only saying "around 8" so when the game comes out with 10 we'll feel like we're getting a bonus.

I can tell you that easily.  Makoto is the second most popular SF3 character among TS fans.  Moreso even than Ibuki.

The fact is, all of the 8 rumored returning characters are very popular.  If anything, T. Hawk is the LEAST popular person on the list.  But we're stuck with him now.

So?

Cody is one of Alpha's most favorites (plus the fact that there is a seperate FF fanbase)

I seriously don't see Makoto being more popular than Cody. Not saying that it can't happen, but I don't see it
Wonder what the results of that poll on the request page looks like concerning Cody / Makoto

I was kinda like "what the heck?" Hugo alone is more popular than Makoto

• Throws are too easy to land in Capcom's eyes and they plan to tweak some things to fix this. Ono wants jumps to have fewer startup frames.

This is the most worrying change. Throws already suck in SFIV seeing as they can be teched, do little damage and can easily be beaten by mashing jab. Against anyone who's mastered option select, it's virtually impossible to throw.

SFIV has one of the weakest throw games of any SF (I believe even Daigo, who usually doesn't say much has complained about this).

If they really are doing this then I hope they buff throw damage to ST levels or beyond. Heaven forbid people actually do something other than hold down+back in the game.

I support a new (or remixed) Darkstalkers game!

You guys are just pulling things out of your **** now.  Most of the characters your mentioning were on one of the two polls Capcom released when they were making SF4.  Only Dudley did better than Makoto.

And Hugo was almost at the bottom of the poll he appeared on.

As usual Scarecrow, your talking your personal opinion and trying to pass it off as the communities.
