I reckon that when you lose, you switch over to your teammate and their character while you watch from the sidelines.





IDK if that's pushing it, but seeing the downed fighters on the sides would be a very nice touch, even if they're stationary sitting or standing.




I didn't mean you'd be literally in the sidelines. I meant that you'd just watch while your teammate and thair character tries to beat the guy who beat you.

2 teams of online players. There's a screenshot in the scans that shows a list of  players split into 2 teams. Also, I believe Reno from SRK (and Unity's man in Japan whenever the need arises) has confirmed this as such.

Ya, that should work ala CvS. Very interesting to see if pulled off. Get a nice team of 2 or 3, decide the order, change it up if needed, then watch the heads roll.
