They've said before it's not easy to design and test SFIV PC to work on all the different kinds of PC setups that exist out there and you have to try get it work on as low-end a PC as you can as well as making it capable of maximizing the potential power of a high-end PC.

The brunt of that testing should already be done with SF4, seeing how SSF4 is going to use the same engine.

Actually, that's how most of Capcom's multiplatform games are made nowadays (including SF4). And again, I seriously doubt that'd be a major concern when you're building on an existing engine.

I am unconvinced on this one, It's speculation but I feel comfortable arguing from the stand point that it's not a new engine.  The PC development had overlap with SSFIV and these type of porting issues would of been tackled then.

And regarding piracy, I say this as a Swede and firm believer in the free exchange of information (aka piracy for those countrys with copyright)..

This game is not pirate friendly.  If you care enough about SF to download it you will require online play.

It's the same reason MMO's are not often pirated.

The real piracy concern should be if the PC version is neglected and modders take it upon themselves to support the game.

Considering SFIV PC release and SSFIV production overlaped and they just finished porting a Microsoft game to a Microsoft OS there is no logical reason for complications with a PC port.

I am angered by delayed PC release and worried about no release at all.

Not all do it, but it is a problem nonetheless

You know how EASY it is to just torrent games lol. Seriously

Yes yes, you won't get to play online in most cases, but it's a problem nonetheless

That and the fact that people start modding everything

This is NOT what all PC gamers do, but a large enough number of them steal/mod these company's games. Remember this is THEIR game, they're taking the safest route, which is console gaming.

Enjoy SFIV 'till PC release way later

Modding games is one of the best thing thats how the legendary Counter Strike got created. They before any console could offer anything. And dont start with the stealing argument on pirate bay one of the most dl things are xbox360 games too.
