Giving this a sticky because too many threads are popping up requesting specific characters. Trying to keep it all in one place and clear it up.

Guh, to request characters for a title such as SSF4 would usually take a while, but hey.....WE NEED SF3 CHARACTERS!
1. Alex: the underappreciated main character for SF3, sure...Abel plays very similar to him, but wouldn't you want to slash someone and lead it into a german suplex in glorious HD?
2. Remy: Yes, he might be a very homoerotic/emo character that was in ways, a guile with a extra move, but he still had this odd sense of style that I would like to see return in....yes...GLORIOUS HD.
3.Skullomania: boy oh boy, Japanese office worker turned fighter, should I say more?
4. D. Dark: A very mysterious swat type character that would make a great addition to the roster.
5. Adon: Yes, he was a funky substitute for Sagat, but hey, WE NEED ANOTHER CHARACTER THAT USES MUAI THAI...cause with a little tweaking, Sagat could have a run for his money.
I could go on, but certain characters, such as the ones in the EX series are a hopeless dream, for Arika licensed them.
"A baberific way of living is using hitler to clean your toilet." Cairo Stewart.
XBL: BAB atomer I'm average at everything...but will sadly never reach the top at anything. But if anyone is willing to fight....GET SUM! |

I like this very much. If I don't see at least one FF and SF3 character, my head will explode. And don't forget stages! Metro City?
FF Characters for possible SFIV Dash!

Dear Capcom, now that Ono-San has announced that there will be no arcade version of Super Street Fighter IV, it is even more important to make the online netcode the best it can be since that is where most of the competition will take place. Do this for the fans as we have asked many times, but also do this for yourselves as you need to give people reason to buy this game other than more characters. It is essential you convince Capcom Japan to implent the best netcode possible. If for some reason GGPO cannot work, then try what BlazBlue has done (they have the best netcode on consoles, even better than hd remix). If you are going to use the same netcode, then why bother getting the game. even if you add lobbies, the current mid level netcode will not handle it well and people will get even more lag than they have in Street fighter 4, and that says a lot. What's the point of buying arcade sticks and fightpads if lag will ruin any precision you have with those items. It is in your best interest to make this happen if you want our continued support and a lot of profit. We are moving into 2010 and our expectations are higher, especially when playing sf2 hd remix, MvsC2, BlazeBlue, and even kof12 has a lot of multiplayer features. You will also be competing with other fighting games such as Tekken 6, which will have a beat em up campaing mode, lobbies, a lot of fighters and more. Dragonball raging blast which has a big fanbase and will have a 16 player tournament mode!!! There is also BlazeBlue Continuam Shift which already has a very amazing netcode, will introduce new characters and features, so that's an update you are directly competing with your own update. Other Japanese developers and just developers in general are and have been keeping up with current generation demands in their fighting games and have even been innovating to beat their competition. It is time for you to do the same, especially since you have one of the most popular and iconic fighting franchise in the world. You owe it to us and you owe it to yourselves. Thank You Very much

First of all, I would like to say thank you Capcom for continuing the series. The fans of the Street Fighter phenomenon are truly some of your strongest supporters. About the characters: I do enjoy the confirmed three/rumored four you have for the fans: T-Hawk, Deejay, Juri, (Hakan) "()" because I'm not sure if confirmed The new characters represent never before represented regions/countries of the world which provide a more "world warrior" feel. I especially like Juri as she might provide complication to the SF story later on. I suggested earlier on in other threads about the possibility of "new Shadowloo agents" being introduced that might do some "manipulating" behind the scenes, possibility creating an unexpected power struggle within the crime organization. I hope Capcom can do something similar with her. With a possible 4-6 more characters coming in, I'll have to go with the following in order of greatest to least...in my opinion of course... Ibuki - popular and gameplay variety; characters affiliation with a ninja organization makes her rich to explore especially with some possible hostile entanglements with S.I.N. and Shadowloo. Elena - unique gameplay and design (character and nationality). Dudley - popularity Hugo - provides more "street" into the series and alludes to another "era" that people feel nostalgia for. Great animation possibilities with the character's size and style (proficient grappler and slammer) Rolento - unique gameplay and more "street" feel; another head villain! Cody - most unique of the FF heroes and is a "street brawler" type that we haven't seen much in the stylized types in SF lately.
All listed in my personal priority of gamplay variety first then animation possibilities leaving old characters subordinate to newer, less seen characters.

If it ends up being 8 included (compared to the rumored/leaked 10), I'd have to say drop Adon at least. Although the 2nd would be harder decide, I'd probably say Hakan as the other.

Assuming the game adds 10 characters and not 8. SSF2 T. Hawk Dee Jay SSFIV Juri Hakan? Final Fight Cody Guy Roxy* (I wanted Lucia but with Juri in the game her style would be redundant) SFIII Dudley Alex (He's the lead of SF3) Ibuki *She looks like Poison and she is actually a woman **Italicized characters are if there will only be 8 total characters added. |
