Works for me! I think Capcom should put more SFIII characters. But if 4 characters is all we're gonna get from SFIII, then I will gladly wait for the next game featuring Makoto. I rather more represent than just a few.

Well then maybe it should be Ibuki, Dudley, Elena and Makoto for this iteration as Super street fighter 4 already has a returning grappler in its roster in the form of T.Hawk

Okay...taking into consideration the grapplers already in the game, how about this...

 

New characters: Juri, Hakan

SFIII: Ibuki, Dudley, Elena

SFA: Birdie, Guy, Rolento

SFII: T-Hawk, Deejay

 

This way there won't be an overemphasis on Japanese school girls with only one more added, which by the way is a female ninja, something not represented in the game currently; two very different British fighters; an American that "isn't blond" and is a ninja (unique); another Italian but male and shady; and T-Hawk and Deejay, well, they're unique in their own ways as we all know, whether you like them or not; new characters represent different areas of the world never represented and maybe even gameplay that is versatile and entertaining.  This inclusion set wouldn't let any country dominate per say with only Britain (which needs it with only one rep right now) with two characters.  Every other character are from different places and fight a different style and have distinct personalities.  What do you guys think?  Would you get behind this?

Personally Im not too fussed about how specificaly a character represents a country.

I dont think Ibuki or Makoto fall into that fighting schoolgirl archetype because neither of them fight in a school uniform, Ibuki is a ninja and thus fights like a ninja in ninja attire and Makoto is in Gi and fights using a more traditional style of karate. Karin however I always felt was just the ken to sakura's ryu (Though I appreciate she uses sumo.)

If SF4 got 4 alpha characters in the roster then theres nothing wrong with SSF4 having 4 sf3 characters 

Dudley, Ibuki, Makoto and Elena

Their not too loud and crazy like Twelve or necro. They fit into the world warrior dynamic of sf2 and they round the cast out nicley. Giving us a very different second boxer, a proper ninja (Nobody really counts vega,) a genuine shotokan using without projectiles and a capoiera fighter with alot of unique specials.

Now of course Guy is THE DUDE and everbody loves him so of course he has to be in. But why not switch out birdie with cody and have;

Guy, Cody and Rolento

This way we get two awsome ninjas, 3 FF characters, we still get a thug who fights in hand cuffs and brandishes a knife and we also get a badass army guy who flips around and uses razor wire and grenades.

Hi im new to forums and new to SSFIV too sadly. I goyt the news ages later. So is there a chance Guy or any good Aplha characters are coming in the new 5 remaining characters?

Spent all night customizing my Mad Catz Tournament Edition Fight Stick, so now it is resplendent with Dudley's grace and majesty.  I'm ready for Super Street Fighter IV, so once again, it must be stressed:
