The World Warrior's League (WWL) is a league that a friend of mine, Silver Rain, has been running to help the HD Remix community. Luckily, his effort has been successful (especially compared to others I've seen on here and SRK) as we've been playing every week for about a month AND new players are still joining each day. Pretty much every week, there is pool play on Mondays at 8 PM. It's spread apart so that each player fights in a pool with others from his or her timezone (PST, EST and even Europe) so that it will reduce lag. On the following day, however, the top players from each pool will fight against each other. It's fun, and filled with a lot of tough competition so it can help you test yourself and get better, or just want to meet others who play this game. Silver Rain even started something for Fridays too if you're too busy for the Monday/Tuesday games.
