Street fighter 3 was a great game, but the soundtrack was horrible... street fighter 4 had one really annoying song, but i think we can honestly say we were lucky no one had the bad idea of making all the music like that :P.
I like Rap but i feel you listening to Rap on this game period would make no sense. Thats only for football and the NBA games.

I know this is off-topic but The soundtrack of SF3(3rd stike) is awesome. Every stage has cool music .Ibuki and Necro/12 are my lease favorite.then again which version are you talking about .
About the Rap. As long as its not too Gansta. THe select screen(3rd strke) for example Rocks! THe Ending credits go a bit to Hardcore. Also, Rap is "StreeT" music so it does make sense for it to be in Streetfighter. It can sound intense and it hypes you up.
I do not know if anyone else said these but i would not like to see.
1. Gief able to hit you while your on the ground trying to trip him hit from his larait its a upper attack not a low attack.
2.Throw attacks not able to take so much damage and or go through punches or kicks. I know we all have had that done and was like WTF LOL.
3.air blocks
4.air throws
5.I dislike how everyone can go through a fireball on a ultra move. I can undertsand if its close but not when there are far enough that its released and get hit. i understand Chun Li,Vega,Balrog(Boxer),and others but Sagat no i do not think so or Ryu and others.
6.Indestructable LOL
7.Seth as final boss PERIOD. I HATE the way people use him all long arms and jumping off walls. i know he has no health so your move to a defensive state but the whole match you do that and wen you win you have the nerve to say they suck. thats like how some akuma players throw fireballs the whole match.
8.SLOW A** SPEED GAMEPLAY.Please give us the Speed option like in all the other SF's.
9.I do not want to see people able to connect there ultra with ease like how ryu does a simple small SRK or Boxer doing his headbutt then his ultra i think cancelling moves is jus the fair way because all the characters can not do it and sometimes it can get annoying.
10.I would not like to see this game to come out and nothing not even some lil changes that people all at least wanted besides new characters. I hope its more balanced in lil ways like my #1.
I agree with most of this accept the throws why would you want to make throws weaker?
Also if I havent said this before I DONT WANT to SEE easy reversals (make the window for reversals smaller) autoblock (this is a reason why people are getine crazy reversals).

Personally i dont want any lyrics at all in fighting games, not even on the menu. So i guess thats my main problem, but hip hop style music doesnt really fit either ( though it depends on the character it belongs to).
Rap might be street music, but it doesnt fit with alot of characters in the game, the stage music should more or less give a representation of the character your playing against or with...
Example, i dont see Ryu or Sagat as rappers, but i dont see ryu or sagat as rockers or metalheads either (not saying anyone of them are).
Street fighter 2 gave a pretty good example of what kind of music i would want, Guile and Ken's music is the ones i have the least problem with seeing as metal or rock influenced. The music just feels right when their played with an Electric guitar. And the style of their themes just fit perfectly with the characters.
So to make things clear: I would NOT want to limit Street fighter to only ONE style of music. Mix it up!

What are you talking about, have you heard the music of Third Strike? Not all the music was hip-hop, some of it was Acid Jazz, and some of it wasneither. You shouldn't just stereotype it as just hip-hop.
The Third Strike soundtrack defie the word "Street" in the title Street Fighter, so it does fit in; it's a mixture of different styles of music.
"Street fighter 2 gave a pretty good example of what kind of music i would want" There's your problem, it's what YOU wouldn't want. Capcom is not going to make a game that caters to your taste only. Also, Street Fighter 2's music was made in the early 90's, there was a limitation to the technology of making video game music back then, but if it wasn't so limited, Capcom would probably be using the same techniques they use for SFIII's music.
oh god, half of this thread sounds like endless whining of people who dont know how to play.
"take out this, because my character cant do it"
"take out that because it always hits me and i dont know how to block it"
"take out this because yada yada yada"
only thing i dont wanna SEE is Seths stage. his stage is terrible. that is all.
They are not whining...they are telling CAPCOM their opinions......troll??
Anyway...
1.SF3 characters...........(Sorry)
2.Poison(Sorry again)
3.Focus system
4.SF3 characters
5.trials in challeng mode
6.SFA3 characters(gets prepared for flaming)
The U.S.A could never use a normal pen in space because of the zero gravity. So they spents years and millions of dollars making a pen that would work in zero gravity. While the Russians used a pencil.

I guess I'll join...supporting Sf3 characters for...SSF4....
Scrubs think SF3rd strike is not the best Street Fighter...of all time.
