I hope they have the option to skip bonus stages in the game if they are in. They were alright back then, but now I don't think I'd enjoy them the same way if it is all about beating up a car mashing the buttons as fast as you can.

Yeah, in 3s, in extra modes I have them turned off. It's fun the first 3 times, then it gets really dull after that. The multi FA shouldn't be a part of any bonus game, but rather the trials.

Ono adding bonus stages was-is a waste IMO. Unless you get a trophy, theres no real reason for them....especially if there are trials modes...they're almost pointless?

they should have a training mode option to beat on a punching bag instead of dan. i dunno.. maybe that could turn into a bonus stage. :/

Unbelievable.

If bonus stages are the exact same as the original then people will get bored of that feature within a week. Watch! Just you watch! >o

3. Focus attack stage - Fits in on Ryu's temple stage

4. Belger stage - Fits in  on Zangief's/El furte's mini ring stage

I always thought they were just supposed to be for a bit of fun....+ They aren't TOTALLY pointless as they do contribute to your final score. I don't think people would get bored of the bonus stages easily, but then again it depends how good they are...If they are boring bonus stages then they will. But i still after years enjoy smashing cars and barrels! hehe

BONUS STAGES: And loads of them. Some new some old and can be incorperated into the game. It would be a test in the story before you can enter a fight you have to prove to the people hosting the fights you are tough enough and you can protect yourself. You will encounter these bonus stages every three matches. There will be 20 different stages that will be timed and will be random selected to play as you go threw the game. You can play threw the game 20 times and have a different bonus stage outcome everytime. The only place you can play bonus stages is in arcade or vs. You can't practice these in training mode. Bonus stages in arcade mode are part of the story line in a way that has never been seen before. When entering a bonus stage you will be greeted by random people from all over the world map. They will ask you to take a test of some kind to see if you are worthy. There will be a quick animation cut scene with them talking then it will go straight into the bonus stage. In a verse game it just go's straight into the bonus stage. these are the different stages: bricks, big block of ice, cement wall to break down, big tree trunk, car, suv, semi truck, bear to fight, tiger, charging bull, barrels, arm wrestling, blocking and hitting thrown objects, eating contest, keep away from an angery mob of people don't let them grab you and hold you down, huge punching bag to destroy, focus attack different levels, catch flying arrows, huge stack of wood break with elbow, meditation block incoming attacks using d-pad and hitting a direction that the lines of intent are coming from. Talking from the pre-bonus stage people can be skipped. I will come back and break down each stage and explain how they work.

1. Barrels = just like before they are rolled out at you. you have to break as many as you can.
2. bricks =  just like before you have to break a stack of bricks in a set amount of time.
3. big block of ice = you have to punch kick threw a block of ice.
4. cement block wall to smash down = this is more of a game of build up your power than push a button to release that punch or kick. you have three trys to knock down the wall depending on how much power you give in each blow.
5. Tree trunk to kick threw = you have to kick threw the trunk as fast as you can....TIMBER.
6. Car = same as always
7. suv = same as in sf3
8. semi truck = same as car and suv just bigger and more hits to destroy.
9. fight a bear = beat a bear down in a set amount of time don't want to lose this bonus stage.
10. tiger = same as the bear just different attacks and faster.
11. charging bull = this game is more of a timing game to hit a certain attack button at the right time. The bull charges and in a split second a button press flashes up on the screen you have to hit that button in a 2 sec window. This repeats 3 times till the bull is ko'd or you are run threw.
12. arm wrestling is a game of tap your buttons as fast as you can for as long as you can. Game lasts 10 seconds it is all about endurance and speed. who ever has the upper hand after 10 secs are up wins. they then slam the other persons arm down.
13. objects are thrown off screen at you.= You have to block or hit them away. too many blocks breaks your guard and to many hits will ko you. 10 sec game of hit and block duck and jump.
14. eating contest = see who can stuff the most food in there mouth and chew the fastest, another game of food in the mouth buy hitting kick and then chewing by hitting punch. you have a set amount of time to chew threw the food. Turbos won't work cheaters.
15. angery mob = people will rush you from all sides you have to kick and punch them away. If they get to close they will grab you and then you have to shake them off by wiggling the joystick. If too many people grab you they will pull you down and stomp you. If you can keep them away for 20 secs your good.
16. Huge punching bag = you have a set amount of time to destroy it.
17. practice your focus attacks and there different levels.
18. Catch arrows = arrows will be shot at you and you have to hit a certain button to catch them, kinda like the bull charge.
19. Huge stack of wood boards to break with your elbow = it will be a gauge and timing power, button press to see if you have a enough power to get threw them all.
20. meditation = you have to use directional pad to block incoming kicks or punches kinda like dragon slayer flashing lights let you know wich way the attack is coming. It will use lines of intent instead of flashing light.

I like this idea except i think there should be like bonus mode were, you can play against others in just minigames, see whos top dog at destroying the cars or something or selectable in challange mode were you have to get a big score and you unlock either another minigame or harder setting for it. I would also like to be able to practice cuz if your not familiar you might want to be able to get to familar

I would also like to see Wack a mole but it could be call Wack a seth.
i think it would be cool if there was  a two on the opposing screens you see the persons character choice pop up, and of coursewhen you hit them its not a shuvle, like in ryu's kase it can be a energy blast, zangief can slam his fist down on them.  The response would be as fast as you can hit x but missing can penalize you.
