We Want Alpha 4!

Who's with me?


I thought the Alpha series was the absolutely best and most fun Street Fighter. I see so many of you talking about letting Alpha die, Storylines this and that, etc etc. Whatever you want to say to bring the series down, that doesn't matter here. This thread is for those Alpha diehards, the people who want their voices heard!


I have been thinking about this for a long time and now I'm taking this opportunity to put in my suggestion to Capcom to bring back the Alpha series.


With so many people interested in Street Fighter than ever before, I say bring it back! It was just the most amazing game visualy and technically. It's so very unique and I believe it deserves it's chance at another sequel.

I wouldn't mind them making a future game just like the Alpha series(gameplay and characters), but I feel the Alpha story-arc is done with and over.

Same here really. And with SSF4 coming out it looks like capcom are progressing with SF in practically every way possible.

Alpha's were my hearts at XD But I dont think they'll even give it a second glance now. The story line is pretty much over and wrapped up a bit with SFIV :[ And if it follows the same pattern as SFIII, the third itteration is usually the last.

At this point, the only room for a new Alpha would be a "Hyper SF" style collection which combines all 3 games in one.

Actually since we already got Street Fighter Alpha Anthology that actually has a hidden hyper SFA like game in there, I've got a far better idea. ;)

Alpha Anthology has a multiplayer only version that doesn't include the PSP characters.

It seems like the focus from here on out is SSF4, I doubt they would go out of there way to create a different sf entry as it would take away from the momentum of SSF4. The best I think you could hope for is a HDremix type game and at this point I believe even that is a stretch.

The few of you that mention storyline in a fighting game as if it has any significant importance at all in the creation of a new SFA game make me sigh. wtf.


A full HD Alpha with new characters, music, stages, fighting mechanics, etc. Wouldn't that just be amazing?! Fricken HD, widescreen, smooth anime eye candy. how could you not want that?! You people are just poisoning my thread with negativity. Can't we talk about how we can improve upon Alpha instead?


anyway, I really thought World Tour mode was awesome how bout you guys?


What would you want to see to make a new Alpha game worth your time?

Dude, even if the plot isn't the greatest story ever, you should still see the Alpha plot is done.


Gameplay wise however, I'm all for new Alpha games. Maybe we could see something like "Super Street Fighter Alpha 3", which takes all the content from Alpha 3 Max and implements new music, stages, and fighting mechanics.
