Well, Sophitia and Cassandra are Greek as well. Although Terentia has much different appearance. While Soul Calibur girls are fair skinned and blonde, Terentia is olive skinned and with black curly hair.

STOP HOGGING! haha im just kidding, we are here to share ideas if you have more ideas then there is more to share with you, but yeah i knew that Sophita and Cassandra were Greek, but your character still kind of reminded me of them :P and who knows maybe we can all work together with these characters,

Wow, i am really impressed with the level of research and work you have put into this, 10 thumbs up from me! Honest, this is really cool and the idea of having a Greek female wrestler never crossed my mind (Greek/Roman wrestling did, but with a guy)


Just 2 things if i may:


1) since Greece has so many ancient Greek stadiums and amphitheaters why not use one of those instead of a Roman-sourced one? Perhaps a cool idea would be to use Thessaloniki's historical landmark, the White Tower (Lefkos Pyrgos)





2) Dynamis is basically the greek word for "power" as in strenghth


Would be interesting if Capcom made her a lesbian as well, just for the sake of having a gay character in SF IV who does not fall into the usual stereotypes. ;-)

Well heres my shot at creating a character.


 






Name:  Kraken (a remote controlled robot) + Eugene (a 10 yr old boy genius controlling Kraken)


 


Sex: Kraken( N/A ) / Eugene (boy)


 


Ethnicity: American


 


Height: Robot  7’0”   /  Boy  4’2”


 


Weight:  2 tons / boy 65lbs


 


Home Town:  Denver, CO


 


Likes:  Robot (n/a) / Boy – pizza, spaghetti, video games, and working on robotic and nanite engineering.


 


Dislikes:  Rude people, other brilliant minds that think they are right all the time, vegetables.


 


Fighting Style:  Kraken will have a grab and smash type of combat utilizing projectiles, throws, slams, as well as basic martial arts.


 


Tone:  Eugene is a genius plain and simple.  Always devoted to making Kraken better and better with martial combat upgrades as well as other combat arsenals.  He seeks to test his creation amongst the strongest of the world warriors.  Kraken's physic would look similiar to Ironman type of suit but with more flexibility and being 7ft tall.


 


Rival:  C.Viper


At the beginning of the cut scene, C.Viper appears flying towards Eugene and Kraken.  Landing in front of him, Viper smiles and the young genius “So…you’re the great and powerful Oz – Ha ha ha ha.  Well little boy, I’m here to take you and your precious toy back to my superiors who have a great interest with it as do I.”


Eugene: “You can try.  By the way, your belly fat is hanging – ha ha ha”

Akuma: Whoa your stronger than many of the fighters here!  I’m lucky to get your fight on video to upload!


Gouken: Whoa! You’re Ryu’s master!  Today is my lucky day to have your data uploaded.  Kraken will become invincible with your moves!


Rose: You dress and fight like my mom – Terrible!


Gen: For an old man, you have some moves worthy of Kraken’s database!


Sakura: Hey! Didn’t I have you in Trig when I was 5?  Yeah, I remember, you tried to copy off of me!


Seth: There’s no way you will take away my creation or me for that matter.  Get lost creep!


Dan: How’d you make it this far in the tournament with those moves?


Cammy: Your training rivals Guile but not quite worthy of Kraken.  Keep training!


Fei Long: For an actor, you were a worthy opponent for Kraken.  Upload complete!


C.Viper (rival): You call that an advanced suit?  You must be joking.  Why don't you stay home and be a soccor mom!


 


SPECIAL MOVES:


1.      Kraken Punch – a rekka ken type punch where the second hit lifts the opponent up in the air and his fist explode, setting him up for another combo


2.      Kraken Kick – a over the head axe kick that continues on striking the foe twice. Pressing the punch button afterwards will launch the foe in the air for a combo setup.


3.      Kraken Cluster – fires several mini rockets on the ground with a 1,2,or 3 sec timer above them and explode when foe lands on them or timer expires.


4.      Kraken Slam – a 360 degree motion where the foe is picked up high in the air and drops down performs a devastating power bomb


5.      Kraken Whip – a metallic tentacle that reaches either in the air or in front of the foe grabbing them and tossing them around (similar to spider-man’s web throw)


6.      Kraken Flame – similar to Dhalsim’s yoga flame only shoots straighter and lasts longer.


7.      Kraken Counter – performing a dragon punch motion will cause Kraken to counter any mid level or high move (similar to Gouken)


8.      Kraken Bolt – an electrical projectile that can hold a charge before releasing.


9.      Kraken Pull – an air vortex created by his hands that pulls opponents closer to him.


 


FOCUS ATTACK:  Similar to Abel’s but with more reach.


 


SUPERS:


1.      Kraken Flame – if it connects, it puts the foe on fire and leaves him open to other combo or Ultra possibility.  The damage would be slightly more than the normal version of this move.


2.      Kraken Cluster – same move but with a 10 sec timer


 


ULTRA:


1.      Kraken Devestator – the whip comes out reaching halfway across the screen catching the opponent.  Immidiately Kraken fires his rockets sticking to the foe and exploding on contact sending them up in the air.  While in the air, he shoots the whip at them and slams them back down hard on the ground.


2.      Kraken Power Bomb – the whip shoots out catching the opponent and pulling him close within reach.  He then perform multiple mid section punches similar to Fei Long’s Rekka Ken Ultra, then he flips him over and performs to normal power bombs and the third rises high in the and slams him down.

Thanks for the help. I'll update my original post to reflect your stage suggestion. It's perfect. I wouldn't want her to be a lesbian though just because it would make her more stereotypical. People seem to assume if a woman is a lesbian if she is tall, toned, and athletic. I wanted to go against the grain with a serious female grappler. I like R.Mika but she is a Rufus style character. Do you know a better Greek word for Chi? Or was I using dynamis in the appropriate context?

You might be right about the lesbian thing :-) Truth be told i am also hoping for a sexy new female character along the lines of Mai Shiranui cause current SF females either look bulked up (Chun Li), strange (Rose), androgenous (C.Viper - sorry but this outfit is more male than female to me which is still cool) or childish (Sakura)


As for the Greek word of chi, well as i said before "dynamis" in Modern Greek is used as power-strenght but it might have had a similar meaning to "Chi" in Ancient Greek. Not sure though, if i find out i will let you know

I want a Seth clone styled Mokujin(tekken), Unknown(tekken tag), marionette(Darkstalker) and Shadow(Darkstalker).


 


It a better way of doing handicap matches and add some mini mode on the Arcade matches or Versus mode.
