I hope they add Poison, it would add more to Cody's story, but Im kind of pissed off that Capcom says that she is a dude. WHY DIDNT YOU JUST SAY SHE IS A GIRL!, HECK THERE IS A STATUE OF HER THAT WAS IN THE CAPCOM GIRLS COLLECTION!
Tranny issues aside, Poison also doesn't know how to fight for ****. All of her moves in Final Fight Revenge are like joke moves. She's like even worse than Dan at being a fighter.
Having Poison in Street Fighter would literally be like having a random generic street thug in a tournament containing all of the worlds most powerful martial artists.
Even Dan, who's a joke compared to the other Street Fighter characters, is still probably a huge badass compared to the average person in the Street Fighter world.
In Darkstalkers it's totally different. Morrigan is in no way self respectable, lol.
Morrigan has the same issue R.Mika does. She's dressed appropriately for what she does. R. Mika is a Japanese Womens Pro-Wrestler. Morrigan is a Succubus. It's pretty much her whole purpose to tempt men into having sex with her so she can feed on their souls. To that end her outfit is no more or less respectable than it needs to be for that purpose.
More women like Ingrid or Makoto would be really nice for SSF4, just not any women like R. Mika...where not all pervs like some people are... XD
I certainly don't want to see Ingrid back (ever). SF can do without the Athena/Magic Girl stereotype. A twiggy 35kg girl isn't exactly what I consider a fighter, even in the SF universe so I'm hoping Capcom will continue to leave Ingrid outside of the SF canon.
I like extremes in a fantasy game like SF. I would love to a have a tiny Ingrid verse a giant Hugo. I have no expectations of realism when it comes to SF games.
I'm only a casual gamerwhen it comes to street fighter but I'm more of a Marvel vs. Capcom and King of fighters gamer than Street Fighter 4. I'm still bitter with the game turning into 3d.
I kinda prefer petite female characters because they look good with combos. As a 4 feet girl, I cant kick big guy's butt in real life but at least on games I'm an equal. When I occasionaly beat guys in coop gameplay I felt stronger mentally.
Aside from female characters, Street fighter is lacking with heartrob bishonens. If KOF and Tekken can have them why not Street fighter.
