Skullmania is way better than Fuerte though. Just because they might be similar doesn't mean it totally rules things out especially if you consider all the shotos. That is if it were possible that EX characters actually made it in. I'd laugh if EX characters got in, since it's so unlikely. I liked Gurada, Skullmania, and Nanase. Pretty much the only characters I would want a return. Chances is paper thin, and more than likely the roster is already set which I'm pretty sure won't include any EX characters.

Kairi is a must. Along with Garuda and Skullomania. And Kairi is not really a shoto in terms of Ryu and Ken, I would say a mature and more skilled version of Dan. I am sorry to say this Capcom but I can say Kairi and Garuda are on the top 5 of the most skilled fighters in street fighter. I just hope Capcom listens up and notices that some of us fans want EX characters as bad as we want SSFIV. |

If I were to choose from the EX series I'd choose - Garuda, Kairi, Darun, D.Dark, Hokuto, off the top of my head. The other characters the EX series brought to the table either just don't cut it or are substantially insignificant to these truly magnificent designs. I'll be honest and say that the license issue does not stand in the way of EX characters, because something can simply be arranged. Capcom won't get the licensing rights, BECAUSE of the EX characters' lack of popularity and support. Though I doubt any forum thread could ever hope to achieve it, Capcom need to know there is a respectable amount of fans that want EX characters (which there probably isn't). I wonder if people know why character designs are mostly so good from EX? Because Arika, the company that partook in creating the EX series, consist of the very people that created sfii and its characters, namely Arika Nishitani, and Akiman. |

I would love to play as D. Dark to go against your Guile. I would treat the story the same as real life, and send you threatening messages through PSN >D Dark Shackle!
Ryu: "That's fine. Perhaps I can learn something worthwhile from your discipline. However, I won't lose. Let me show you the meaning of true strength."

Tch, I would send Skullmania to do some operations on you.
And it's pretty much like Curbs said, licensing rights is an issue but it's more than likely not the deciding factor. Actually if you really look at it, it's the same thing with TvC making it's way over here. Licensing issues were a problem, but they brought it over because enough fans actually wanted it.

Well now when we see Ono (or anyone else), we need to start asking "When will we see SFEX in the SFIV series?", that way history can repeat itself as he says in some random future interview "Um yeah the fans requested it and were very passionate about EXX characters getting into Hyper SSFIV and blah blah blah." Time to start now :P Doctrine Dark 4 Hyper SSFIV!
Ryu: "That's fine. Perhaps I can learn something worthwhile from your discipline. However, I won't lose. Let me show you the meaning of true strength."

Nah, he'll just say they didn't send them invitations or whatever and pretends he doesn't know people want EX characters in there.

I think we should make the request in Capcom Japanese forums. |
