... Now I got images of Street Fighter themed teddy bears going through my mind.
"As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no 'I' in team, but there is an 'I' in pie. And there's an 'I' in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about."

If you don't think console exclusivity is affecting a PC/Arcade release your naive. I have a hard time believing they are going to scrap so much of street fighter that it's manifesting all these technical hurdles they would of dealt with the first time around. I am not a game designer but I know enough about programming that you don't scrap your entire engine just for the sake of doing it over differently.
More likely one of the following scenario's.. A) Console manufacturers cut a check. B) Custom PC mods undercut the DLC./Hentai freaks with the nude cammy mods make them think they are going to get "Hot coffee'd" or other bad PR. C) Some dip piracy consultant is to stupid to see that steam/GFWL is a more secure platform than the 360 and advised them against release.

Yes, and as I already said that guarantees that only one of them will be working correctly at most. Considering that you still haven't actually answered whether you forwarded the proper ports (a yes/no question), I'm inclined to believe you never even considered doing so. In which case, that's likely the problem. |

$39.99 is a typical expansion price. I played Everquest 2 for nearly 4 years. The first two expansions Desert of Flames and Kingdom of Sky were $29.99. The last three expansions, starting with Echoes of Faydwer, were $39.99 and the price only dropped after the next expansion released the following year. |

Can we just drop that argument for the moment? Elizondo has already conceded the point for the most part. |

In order to forward ports, I would have needed to have done something to the router. I've stated nothing was done to the router, no IPs were in the DMZ or any of that nonsense. So, no, negatory, nein, I have forwarded no ports. Explain to me how, if only one device is on (either xbox or PC) how that GUARANTEES only ONE of them works correctly at most? Once I turn off a device it no longer exists on the network. The Router isn't going to hold any special set of instructions for a device that doesn't exist unless I specifically tell it to, such as assigning an IP to he DMZ. So please, tell me, how is it that for the 3 weeks my xbox was in Texas getting repaired, my router took up a grudge vs my PC, which as far as my router is concerned, could have been he xbox, and doinked my latency to everyone else in the world. Upon my xbox coming back my router then fell in love with the world again and let sweet sweet information flow once more.
EDIT: ANother reason this game sucks on PC www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPZ38NNQZ0s&feat... People can force you to play even slower then that

There you go. Don't expect the game to work without networking errors, then.
If only one is connected at a time, it's no guarantee, true. But similarly there's no guarantee they'll have the same IP assigned, either. Typical DHCP client lease time is one day, I think? Assuming you were even using DHCP. If it's just static IPs, then it obviously won't work until you reconfigure.
Even that isn't necessarily the case, as you can still possibly connect to other players who do have their ports forwarded properly even if you don't. In which case, the larger playerbase might have masked that issue.
Blame Capcom for not wanting to patch obvious issues with the netcode. Anyway, you can treat the issue the same way as ragequitters. |

I play SFIV with him on XBL and have no issues... However I do have mine set to port forward properly. I was big into WarCraft3 and it is fascist about port forwarding for team games...
