I'd like color edits if you could come up with an alternate name for the character as well. That was actually a huge part of what made CvS2's edits so fun. I remember coloring Blanka in all brown colors and calling him "****face."

I bet one of the reasons no color edit mode was in the regular SFIV is because they knew they were gonna charge us for the alt costumes. So, they didn't want people to do color edits instead of paying $$$ for something already on the disc, pulling a Namco on us. Capcom has fallen into the corporate pits of Hades. The Dark Hado has taken over Capcom, and they'll never be the same. I still can't believe they're even thinking of making this garbage update, rather than moving on to SF5 like they said they would if SFIV did good. No respect for Capcom for this BS. |

I am glad they didnt put the color edit mode in because some of the alt costumes really added personality to the characters. I however do want a color edit mode in SSFIV with limitations. Similar to Tekken with the ability to change colors and add accessories, but at the sametime making sure all the things u can add or change will stay tru to the characters personality. I am also glad they aren't moving on to SFV yet because their is so much I still want to do in SFIV that isnt possible at the moment, like playing in 6 player lobbies for example... If we waited untill SFV we would be waiting for another year or 2. Why not go back on their word and in change establish more replay value in SFIV? That way we have more to hold us while they continue to come up with a formula for V? |

Hey man don't hate the Tekken it's awesome. Fighting game snobbery = massive boooooo. Obviousley Street Fighter rules but there is always room for Tekken, Virtua Fighter and the like. If Capcom put limitations on say skin colour so you can't make Gief green or Rufus pink I think the just editing the outfits should be fine. |

I think it's obvious Ono meant they'd move onto SFV in the long run if SFIV did well, not treat the series like Soul Calibur or Mortal Kombat and rush into numeric sequels that don't offer anything new or innovative. He also said around February there'd be an update to SFIV if it had enough support, and mostly everyone here was in favor of it. If you want to blame somebody, blame the fans.

This idea isn't that bad its different. I would definitely want Color Edit mode I had fun giving all the characters in CvS2 different colors that weren't their default color scheme. I'm all for this mode. |

mm... maybe i finally think it could be nice to add this but with some limitations, to avoid people creating joke versions. anyways, it seems a lot of work to implement this option, not sure if that would fit with SSFIV new features schedule (due to time and development resources issues). |

who is hating on Tekken???
I agree... I think this is the last thing on their minds and its too late in the game to just add it especially with limitations to keep the jokes in check... |

I'm all for it. I think it would be fun to have a pink skinned Zangief, but for all whom oppose, they can just leave the colors strictly to the outfit and leave body parts unchanged (except for Blanka and Seth, of course), either that or relegate the actual body parts to pigments which are realistic. I think it would be a bummer to do that, but I would be all for a color editor if they had to impliment this sort of limitation for it to be included.
Bring back Ibuki already! You know we want her!
We are all ready and waiting for a new Capcom Crossover Fighting Game with the SFIV treatment! After all these years I'm still amazed at how many people don't know what buffering is. You can't cook a truly delicious match if your main ingredient is SPAM! PSN I.D. SUNofNOTHING *SUN of NOTHING* |
