My hype factor has been dropping a lot as of recent. Allow me, before you slam me, to give why.

Release date: Spring 2010.

Ouch. Awesome. I'll just buy a PC copy to hold me -LOL, not only are they not giving any release on it, but the price of the PC version hasn't dropped! So there goes grabbing some matches online for cheap. Weird that it's cheapter to buy for consoles.

Character Reveals!: Juri.

Now, you're wondering why I didn't mention T.Hawk and Deejay. But you all know why. Come on. Really? Who wasn't expecting them to be in this game? The only character reveal was Juri in my humble opinion.

Characters: 8 or more! Wait... "Maybe less" ... Don't be mad at Ono if it is? So I'm just left in the air? Or is this like the Cammy thing where they announced her then tried to trick us by "unannouncing" her.

I'm not saying nobody cares about T.Hawk. But, like I said, we want to see something new. We'd have to be just plain silly to think that they won't be in the game.

No SFIII shown yet? Some people say this is their big trump card they're saving for the end. But is it? The thing is that people will start losing interest unless they show SOME possibility of the characters being in it. Yes, I know Ono said 2 characters from every series--But wait, maybe not? Who knows! They might pull it back and forth in an instant.

FIGHT CLUB YEAAQAAAAAAAAAAAno. - I know some of us are watching these streams three hours at a time to see, as one member posted, "people eating pizza." Wow. I'm not going to expand on that.

Anyway, these aren't complaints about the game itself. I can't wait! It's just my hype level isn't being handled well! It wasn't like SFIIHDR where I got to look at the new pretty graphics all day long until my eyes bled out, or SFIV for the whole new game love. This is an upgraded version.

I want me something to drool at, Capcom!

The new videos in the media thread are pretty exciting the first time you see it. 

But, I agree. 

Seeing T. Hawk and Dee Jay are nice, but these guys were givens and expected based on info from Street Fighter IV.  The hype wouldn't last on these two guys.  We all want to see which Alpha or SF3 characters are going to make the cut, that is where all the speculation is.

Now that they had enough info released to show a demo, hopefully we will get some character confirmations one by one until the game gets close to coming out.  Or maybe even a new gameplay mechanic trailer, like all the new ultras (rumored).

Hearing them say "about 8 characters, maybe more, maybe less" is kinda saddening, for me at least.

Same here.  They should give us a character a month at least, haha.  I wouldn't even care if they announced a character, but gave no pictures until later.  I would still be so hyped for that character, and just picturing them like I had with T. Hawk and Dee Jay once I heard (speculated) they were pulled due to time restraints.

I'm kinda being a downer on that "8 characters, or more, or less".  Going down to 8 from the rumored 10 will potentially cut some really good characters.  I don't want to see any of our favorites get cut from that rumored list.

I really hope a Hyper Street Fighter 4 would only happen as the other Hyper games (only include all variants of characters for a "dream match" game) sometime far down the line. I'd rather opt to see them move onto SF5.

I know what you mean, but announcing at least one solid returning character that we didn't know would already be returning should be able to muster reasonable hype levels.
