So after watching this vid I almost forgot how unique SFIII was with their special intros. There is also something someone pointed out on Makoto's entrance with Dudley, which didn't even register until this vid. I'll just quote this guy who picked up on it more than me. "It's subtle, but if you notice Dudley usually drives in on the side he fights on, but only against Makoto he drives in from her side. The reason is to show how focused Makoto is. Dudley almost hits her with his car (you can see her clothes blow a little when the car stops), and yet she stands there perfectly calm without moving a muscle. Like I said, subtle...but really cool." Now it is my favorite intro next to Ibuki cross-kicking with makoto. So I'm hoping to see more stuff like this in SSFIV. Also, the Makoto VS Ryu intro is awesome because you can see how this is gonna be the big fight of all her fights just from her reaction. Which one is your favorite?
Ryu: "That's fine. Perhaps I can learn something worthwhile from your discipline. However, I won't lose. Let me show you the meaning of true strength."

I like the 2nd Dudley driving a different model car. I also like how Gill will only use fire & ice powers depending on which direction he's facing. Gotta love attention to detail.

Hugo/ Alex is my favorite. There are actually quite a bit more than what was in that video. |

- Ha I notice in Ryu and Ken's sprite animations for the fist bump are done so well. All of the SF3 animation was done amazingly. - I still love that noogie from the Alpha series more. - The Makoto and Ibuki kick is quite awesome as well. - The Alex vs Hugo stand off is pretty epic, but I dont like how it ends. Sorry thats just me. It feels like Alex gets the short end of the stick and the chest bump with smile looks too cheesy, not too threatening. It'd be more epic to me if they had that stand off and slowly got back into their fighting/grappling stances.
Scale of 1-10: How important to you guys is it that the game creators make a special introduction for rivals when it comes to SF games?

I agree more effort put into that one. I like how they're flocking aorund him like an attack of alien pigeons. Twelve always freaked me out too.
