meh, I agree with the OP, it does feel like a mini movie just interupted you in the middle an attack. |

Yeah some Ultras are sweet but some are too long, Juri's Ultra looks awesome first time, but after a few times Im tired of watch it and her Ultra is like Im playing a Dragon Ball Budokai than a Street Fighter. |

^^^^^^^^^^^ "win" in combo with "/thread"
Camera zoom don't change nothing in term of gameplay, during these moves you can't anyway do nothing. I hope them use it more like for example for ELF two special HP throws in running, are awesome but with normal camera are less flashy |

Why do people want to get rid of the coolest looking moves of he game (which look cool in main part because of the dynamic camera angle)? Just because the gameplay has an old school feel to it doesn't mean the entire game has to be stuck in 1991. Why do people complain about things in SF4 which have been around in other fighting games for a decade? Tekken, VF, Soul Calibur...the camera goes ape spit in those games, and no one cares. If fact, people love it. Yet, bring it to SF4 and people complain. That double standard is starting to become a theme around here... |

I definately like the zooms for giefs throws, but I agree they could be a little smoother. Sometimes, especially if you grab them from max range, it is a little jerky and could be smoother right at the start. They need to tween from the normal camera to the throw up in the air, instead of jumping from the normal camera to (jerky) centering it, and then tweening up. |

We know that the camera is not whats actually interupting us. What we're saying is that the sudden switch feels disconnecting. It's like I said, you could be throwing a sweep, watching your leg connect through his ankles, then suddently, the camera changes to you being grabbed. Or my favorit, he's kicking you, you block, then suddenly mini movie of him grabbing you. |

Well, like I said, no one has ever complained about that in Tekken, VF, Soul Calibur/Blade. Tekken does hard camera switches all the time. Heck, television and film do it even more. So, it's not like we aren't use to it. Personally, I think it makes the whole experience more cinematic and dynamic. |
