Yeah when I cosplayed Ryu I was surprised some people would call him "Ree-yu" and pronounce it "ha-Doh-ken" instead of "Rai-yu" and "Ha-doo-ken." Im just used to the former, but I know not everyone's gunna get it right.

Unless I'm mistaken, Hadouken IS pronounced Ha-doh-ken. And Ryu is pronounced like Roo or Ruu. It's not two syllables. It's a diphthong.

Also well the Japanese pronounciation is like "Dyu" is you want to get technical. Also yeah its Hadohken. I said other people still say "Ha-doo-ken"
