I'm not sure if this deserves it's own thread, or should just be posted in an open one, but I (and I'm sure most), believe that recording should be allowed for any match no matter what game type you're playing and how many points you have. I'm hearing Tekken has an save any match ranked or player at anytime, BlazBlue already has this as well. It would only make sense for SSFIV to add this feature. Now I'm not saying take away the Championship mode feature that gets you onto the leader board's, this should stay intact. Keeping it the way it is for only the elite to have their videos posted for the entire world to see. However, SSFIV player/ranked fights should be allowed to be saved by the player to his harddrive at anytime. Maybe even adding a service such as Halo 3 has allowing users to upload their fights to their own private share folder and share them among just their friends. Plenty of games are already allow recording right off the bat such as, NBA 2K9 (2K10 probably does too), Halo 3, NFS Underground I think did it, Tekken 6, and BlazBlue as already mentioned. And I'm sure there's plenty of more. I think this should be a feature that should get some support behind it from Capcom and the community. |

Capcom said they will improve the replay feature, but one can only hope it's as complete as the Blazblue replay system

Hey guys! Wouldn't it be totally awesome if we could only save the replays of the top BP we got from championship mode and if there is exclusive features for each systems when it comes to the replays? Ya know, like one could have the stupid replays and the other could actually save replays? Iono about you guys but it sounds like gold. Save replays and having replays for all modes should be standard now. I'm not sure what the heck Capcom Japan was thinking when they had more competent versions of replays in their previous fighting game franchises...

I like that camera freezing idea, that would be sick... |

This would be awesome. Something like SFEX2, where you could program cameras and stuff? Imagine cinematic replays of high level EVO/SBO tournament play, with sweeping camera arcs and dramatic closeups. This game's graphics deserve such treatment. All those screen shots they've shown over the passed 2 years with special angles are beautiful. |

We should think about it, why should we lower our standards?
